Usually the ranger type for me, but occasionally a melee class.
I love playing sneaky classes like Rogues and Thieves. There is nothing more satisfying than shanking a mob unexpectedly and then stealing all of their belongings.

In wow I enjoy it all, I really like getting into each different play style whether its melee, ranged, or tank spec. When playing Reckoning though I can tell I am going to love the close quarters combat the most. Fighting multiple enemies to survive and taking them all on with skill.
Stealth based roles, and sometimes an archer if I can't sneak around. Why? Might you ask?Because Ninja's are awesome.
I usually play a warrior type class, leaning towards tanking if there's any kind of lack at all in the community - as I don't mind tanking, and it usually means I get instant groups for things like dungeons etc!
I normally play casters or a healing type character. I do however play melee characters as well. To me, it really depends on what type of RPG and how each class play style is.
I usually play a rogue type class, games that let me customize my playstyle have my love for a caster/rogue. In Skyrim I would play a character that mostly deals in stealth tactics and backstab antics. But on the side I could conjure small demons or spirits to help me in actual combat if I wasn't able to sneak kill, or heal myself while it took their attention. So;Rogue Mage (interesting that that is on one of their advertisements lol)On an RPG with less customization, it would just be rogue.
I enjoy trying all aspects of all classes, but given a choice i like to play the stealthy, roguish character
I almost always end up a caster, so much fire!
Almost always a fighter type, dual wielding sharp things. Magic scares me.
I always choose to be a caster... when possible, a class such as warlocks... Like to keep alway beating everything down! =X
I always play a caster role.On games where I can, I usually prefer the healing/defensive/support characters.
I always like to learn the lay of the land on a heavy melee class (warrior, paladin, barbarian, knight) but I generally swap to a ranger (archer, rogue, assassin, hunter) as that is my main preference.
The Hunter and Ranger, Master of Beast and Bow, with a side of Stealth.
