My favorite WoW memory was when I finally got my Dreadsteed way back in the day when you had to do that long and tedious quest chain. After 2000g later and several trips back and forth Burning Steppes I finally got it. I felt so elite at that time. Now all you need to do is pay a few gold for the mount skill then train it at your warlock trainer.
My favorite moment was getting into my first raid and winning my first piece of epic gear. There is just something about those purple pixels
My favorite memory was when I was on my priest I found a pug run that was on lich king that was my biggest goal during Wrath of the Lich King not to kill him on my priest, but any character I had. If i remember correctly it was a close kill like breaking 10% with about two people still alive
Without a doubt, the first time our guild completed a timed Zul'Aman run (During Burning Crusade, of course). We were the first guild to earn the bears without having T6 gear. Quite a fun accomplishment for a 10 man guild, when even the larger T6 guilds were still struggling.
After endless days, months and about 300+ trys we finally killed M'uru in Sunwell Plateau. It was very hard to achieve that kill, but finally we got it. As I remember, there were only 10 players alive as Entropius died, so if the fight took any seconds longer, we have been wiped again. But yeah, after he died, it was so loud in our voice tool -- I think the neighbours thought that someone got killed just in that moment (Not M'uru, but a real person, you know) -- so, yes, no person was killed, it were only the loudest nerdscreams I've ever heard.
my epic moment was the night of the Cataclysm launch, even though i didnt have it myself i was just watching chat at guild everybody was lvling and at general chat there were realm first for the profffessions but it was still epic so i do think it was for the best even not to start my own cataclysm jorney on the first day :)
my favourite memories are about the people i play with.I started playing wow in WotLK and chose my professions and class and race similarly as i would when role-playing.my friends were starting a guild (and i started playing to join them)I tend to play wizards and looking at the race choices couldn't be an elf so i thought go the gnome illusionist route enchanting seem a good base prof for one and after most mobs were dropping cloth went tailor as well.as i leveled and explored i looked around and found tools and advice on the internet..found the informative site called wowhead it showed i could get some epic recipes in i managed to get them quickly after thatmy guild mates werent tailors and didnt know about them i still remember there reaction to me presenting each of them with the epic cloak id made them specially
My favorite moment of wow was when i had just learned mining when i was lv 15. Me and my friend both farmed for hours that night and sold every last bit of copper ore we had earned. We were aboth proud to make 50 gold each and we thought that we were rich.Funny now that when you hit 85 you can make like 800 gold daily from selling ore.
Back in vanilla days my first and only character was a mage. I remember running into my first level 60 (a mage) who said that the ugly white and slightly green gear I was wearing "Just would not do". He took me on my first dungeon run. Shadowfang Keep. It was a very fast and ugly experience. But when we finished that one run, I had replaced every item on my character. Three of them blue. Thanks Houdini. You sealed the deal on my enjoyment of World of Warcraft. For every hundred griefers out there. There is one of you. You make the time spent worth it.
