My favorite memory is creating my own toons after playing the first couple of months on my roommates account. When I finally got my own account I created 6 or 7 characters before logging any of them on just because I could. I liked being able to come up with unique names that no one else could have on that server.
When I first started playing, I met a kindly priest who joined me in questing. He was showing me the ropes while we were killing in Stranglethorn and all of a sudden I get a SKULL above my head! I panic and ask him what it means and tells me that I've been flagged for all the Alliance in the area. They now all know where I am and are on their way to kill me! I begin truly freaking out and he tells me to follow him to Gurubashi Arena and he can make it go away. He proceeds to kill me. I get all upset and I'm completely confused because I know we're both Horde so he shouldn't be able to kill me! He tells me it's the only way to get rid of the skull and we have to leave the arena immediately before all the Alliance show up. So we run down the road and OMG another skull shows up above my head! I immediately run back to the arena and beg him to kill me again. All I hear is laughter. He finally explained to me the raid icons. At least I can take a good joke.
My most memorable moment in WoW goes a bit like this, after meeting two wonderful and fun people. The first, a rogue named Darkrapture, I met in Elwynn Forest, killing Hogger back before the change Cataclysm brought to the quest. The other, was a druid named Idrial, in Arathi Highlands. She was standing upon a rock, lobbing Wrath's at ogres surrounding the area. I never really kept them close at hand, questing together occasionally, meeting in the city, or whispers back and forth while we did our own things. Despite the friendship I had with the two, I never introduced them to each other. Our conversations and questing together had stopped when I decided to faction change to Horde. (This was before RealID) I played there for a while, and chose to go back to Alliance around Christmas time, a suprise present to my old friends. Being guildless, Idrial, the druid, invited me to the wonderful guild, Wow Addicts Wanted. Among the many warm welcomes, I noticed a name. Darkrapture. Little had I known, both of my old friends had gotten to know each other and joined the same guild. I wasnt sure whether to question them on how they had gotten to know each other, or just have fun like we had in the old days. Nevertheless, we are all in the same guild to his date, and that will be one of the best moments of the game, and I dont think i will be forgetting it anytime soon.
Playing my lvl 29 druid twink before experience was awarded in battlegrounds. Getting to know both friendly and hostile twinks in that bracket, and earning respect from both sides of the fence. Receiving my first "smile" and "salute" from an enemy twink who I thought was very good - That was a great feeling.
Favourite memory is when i entered the antechamber of Ulduar for the first time, still and will always be my favourite raid.my guild never took me to ulduar back then, but when it happened finally i was so happy..
Back in vanilla times, when the dungeon set 2 was new, someone in our guild raid asked me: why are my shoulders red? (Shaman set: Five thunders vs Elements) After they realized that I completed the upgrade quest line, I kinda had to help everyone in the guild to get the upgrades :)

My favorite memory of WoW was when I reached my first 85. This was such a huge accomplishment that I had a smile about it the whole day. I had looked forward to reaching that level within the first two weeks that I started playing. The levels seemed so long to get to but before I knew it I was learning my last ability and setting my last talent point.
My favorite memory in World of Warcraft is from the stress test before the game was launched. I played a tauren hunter who held a gun at a 90 degree angle while firing it at various members of the alliance. That the gun was held in such a goofy manner and helped me defend the crossroads made the event memorable, and always brings a smile to my face when I think of it.
My favorite moment in wow was when I had my first lvl 55 toon, unlocking the new class of Wotlk, i remenber was late on the night, and had to work the next day, buy i keep awake all the night playing my new DK :)
My favorite moment in World of Warcraft is when I obtained level 80 on my first character, a priest. This was my favorite moment because it reminded me of all the time I spent leveling that character. Leveling that toon was fun. It also reminded me of the wait for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. The fun of playing the game and that moment was well worth my time a money.
My favorite moment in WoW: was when I recently had started the game for the first time with my older brother.I had bought the game for myself and also got a copy for him for christmas, we started with the BC expansion. We decided to start as a mage called Retsukku and me as a hunter called Manikku @ NA Uther, and we began to explore the once vast-looking world, with strange creatures and lore at the time. Our coolest moment was when we teamed up against that abomination boss at Ghostlands where I would hold aggro and make him follow me while I shot it meanwhile he would slow it down with frostbolts and after a lil while, we managed to conquered it, the true power of teamwork!
My favorite WoW memory was when Lil XT came out but he was glitched. All day in Dalaran you would hear 'I'M READY TO PLAY!" constantly. It was pretty funny at first but I avoided Dalaran until it got fixed >_<
Oh man, my favorite time in WoW had to be during the Shatttering, before Cataclysm came out. Back when there were a whole lot of new quest items to exploit and everything. One in particular was the "Fireliminator X-21" that I found. I thought it was a pretty cool item so I decided to see if it worked outside of the quest zone, which it did. So at that point I decided to tell everyone in the guild to get it, though only around 15 eventually got it and joined my party. It was still enough to cause some annoyance at the local auction house though. http://i.imgur.com/yqx3E.jpgHere's a video that one of the party members made, I'm that guy in the grunt suit at the end of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoSOoV1CDzg&feature=channel_video_titleThe item was nerfed the following day.(sorry)
My favorite moment in wow was, as my previous Guild and I manages to kill Archimonde after weeks of wiping (yeah had some, let's say static personalities in the raids^^) just some weeks before the nerf patch hit the live realms.
My favorite memory of World of Warcraft is the first time me and my guild killed the Lich King. Oh it was a hard battle, it was; we started off pretty rough and we thought we'd wipe for sure. But we managed to survive thanks to my excellent healing (I was a discipline priest) and the kill seemed very close. But right when things were going so well, someone stepped in Defile. There we were, in a sea of darkness, fighting to reach the light on the end of the tunnel, but all seemed to be in vain. But i continued healing and the survivors continued DPS-ing until he was nearly defeated. We had a couple of thousand HP before he was defeated and two of us were left to fight the nevereding battle. It was me and a brave hunter whom struggled to survive despite my strenuous effort to keep him alive. But, right before the Arthas would exhale his last breadth, the most tragic thing happened: the hunter perished by the lich king's chilling blade. There I was, trapped on the pedestal of death on the edge of madness, me, a lowly troll priest against the evilest of monsters. It all seemed hopeless but, with my final breadth, I tried casting some evil magics on him, in vain I thought. After my Holy Fire was cast, the impossible happened: the lich king had fallen: we were victorious.
My favorite memory . . . with so many it's hard to choose. Maybe it was when I first went to a PvP realm and got my first world kill (on accident). Or the time when my guild leader came to Duskwood to take care of the level 80 horde that was tormenting lowbies. Nah. My favorite memory of WoW has got to be the first time I was able to actually raid in ICC. What an amazing experience that brought on the big chant, "Melee don't die. Blam don't DC."
My favorite moment in WoW was the day cataclysm dropped. My friend was going for first druid to 85 on the server. When he got to 84.95%, a druid on the other faction dinged 85. Hilarious.
