mine wasnt when i did anything special, my GF of the time wanted me to play wow with her, so she got me the game and all, and on my first day her friend and my forst guild leader, teleported me all over, and i was awe struck with how beautiful some of the places were, i was amazed, but also my greatest memory is how it was like a second family, i meet so many people and it changed everything for me, and i dont mean that in a corney way, i talk to people i know from nz and wa and all over oceanic area, and i never would have if i hadnt no fallen for the beauty of this game the very first time i played
Hmm. Meeting the love of my life via WoW is probably the best. :3
My best memory in WoW is when I reach rank 11 in PVP before the revamp. We had a lot of fun with the old system too. Though I must admit it was a bit too much a no lifer :)
My favorite memory is of my first week playing - I discovered WoW just a year or so ago, and got through my first week, was completely hooked and remarked to my friends how it was that they never introduced it to me sooner.
My favorite World of Warcraft memory--and my warlock has collected quite a few over the years--dates back to the early days of Vanilla when PvP meant two giant masses of players wailing away on each other as they moved back and forth between Tarren Mill and Southshore. It was a mess, but a glorious and often hilarious one.During a trip through LBRS, some friends and I had the good fortune of running across the Grimoire of Inferno, which at the time was the only means for a warlock to acquire the Infernal minion. It was a pretty big deal since I was one of maybe two or three on the server to have it. None of us had ever even seen one in-game before, so to christen it, we took my trusty new demonic sidekick out to Hillsbrad. We arrived smack in the middle of a Horde offensive on Southshore, with little to no Alliance resistance. Being the dutiful members of the Alliance that we were, we immediately joined the fray. My two friends ran interference for me as I proceeded to drop a giant, flaming green rock from the sky into the center of the Horde mass. Apparently those Horde players had never seen an Infernal before either, because they immediately dropped what they were doing, turned tail, and ran like the entire Burning Legion itself was on their heels. So there we were--a priest, a hunter, a warlock, and one royally annoyed Infernal--chasing about 30-40 Horde all the way across Hillsbrad Foothills back to Tarren Mill itself. The best part was that, at that point, the Infernal was so pathetically balanced that a light breeze could knock him over. Glad those Horde didn't know it though, because the sight of the three of us chasing an entire raid group, cackling manically the entire time, was absolutely priceless.

My favorite memory of World of Warcraft was when I finished leveling in Mulgore on my first character, a tauren hunter. I was running to the next quest zone with my pet and just taking in the sights. I realized for the first time how big this game really is and I wanted to see it all.
My favorite memory would have to be in 2005 my ex's mother's birthday was the next day she played wow with us (she's a human warrior 85 now im sure) So myself and my ex with his brother got together and scraped up money for her character and her first mount i think at the time she was lvl 10 -20 also she has a thing for wine so we bought her a stack of wine and wrapped all her gear etc as gifts. Even spent the whole day with her running her around with quests professions etc. That night she cried and told us she had the best birthday ever in her entire life=D
My favourite moment in wow has to be first time playing the game; I was soooo excited about it after hearing my friends talk about it all the time, and when I created my fist character (Male Night Elf Druid: I still play today) it was better than I ever expected, I had never played any game before that could hold a candle to wow. I found vanilla wow a bit hard to level in but thats what made it great!
my moment in wow history that i did that will always live with me is the day i killed ragnaros in mc using the worldbreaker epic lvl 70 mace which was ironic as my pally was named worldbreaker before i knew there was a mace after ragnaros died i looted his ledgendary eye an made the ledgendary mace of his i was so happy i work at home depot so i went to work that day an had a artist friend draw the ledgendary mace on my apron i wear it at work still to this day. that moment wasn't jus epic .....it was LEDGENDARY to me.
One of my many favorite moments in WoW would have to be this one duel on my Elemental Shaman Vs a Rogue. Now i'm not the best at pvp but I really enjoyed PvP on my Shaman during Wrath of The Lich King but I would often lose to rogues. So one day down in the Dalaran Sewers a rogue dueled me, I thought to myself "Oh great a rogue this is going to be bad" and accepted the duel. 3...2...1... The duel started and my heart began racing. I threw down my totems and began jumping around waiting for him to open up on me. After waiting for a little bit i ran up some stairs. So I recalled my totems and threw them down again on the stairs. After a few seconds I set off a Fire Nova. And guess what... IT GOT HIM! I was so excited and happy, i completely forgot to put a DoT on him before he vanished! So there I was excited that i got a rogue out of stealth and mad at myself at the same time because i let him get the vanish off. After waiting for what seemed like 5 minutes my cooldown was back up and ready for use again. Still staying on the stairs I sat and waited. Then I randomly set off yet another Fire Nova.. And the stars must of been shining on me that day because lo and behold.. I GOT HIM OUT OF STEALTH AGAIN! After a few quick laughs i got him with a Flame Shock followed quickly by a Lava Burst and a couple lightning bolts he was dead... Everytime i go back into the Dalaran Sewers on my Shaman i still remember that faithful day that I Beat A Rogue! :)
Wrathgate. I had mostly just breezed through lore, but that cut scene just made me think "oh man, stuff just got real"!
