The best memory I have of playing WoW would have the be the first time I raided with my husband. I'm a pali heals and to hear him say that I was uber heals... well it made me happy to know that I had not only had fun, but that I'd made him proud. We play WoW together, he was the one to get me into the game, and we have a lot of fun raiding and dungeoning together. It's nice to know I always have my hubby to back me up if a group gets snippy :)
My favorite memory was getting into all those places you were never "supposed to" pre Cataclysm. Be it the rooms under Karazhan, Hyjal, or places like the cliff in Mulgore or the Elwynn Waterfall, I always felt a great deal of personal accomplishment finding or getting to a place that very few people had ever seen in person.
For myself, it was when I got my Epic Mount on my first character in vanilla wow. Back then, there were no dailies for gold grinding; you could harvest and sell ore, herbs, etc, but everyone was as poor as you. :P Eventually I turned to spending hours upon hours grinding Scarlet Monastery elites, at level 60, to get to 1000 gold. It became a sort of joke; I wasn't raiding or pvping at this point. Everyone knew, until I got my mount, where to expect me to be when I logged on. When I finally got it, which was still a rare sight at the time, I couldn't have been more happy! ^_^ ♥ Little did I know that, at the point, I was heading down a deep and dark road, of becoming a mount collector. Perhaps my second best moment was when they stopped taking up two bags (which as a warlock, I also eventually had a soul shard bag). Totally worth it. :D
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why? wow thats hard i have played a long time i suppose that the best memory is every time when i do something new theres no single moment that i treasure more than any other, every one is a jewel worth keeping close i suppose if i got to say one it is the first time i killed lk the first time the feeling i got was truly epic.
My favorite moment was when i started to raid in WoW vanilla, it was a really challenge for me but i was happy because I was helping to my friends a lot...Im not raiding with them now but i would like to live those moments...again.
My best memory:Back in Vanilla, I was in a guild with two real life friends, and a bunch of really friendly players. It was a guild more about fun than anything else, and we'd often just get into random groups to go run through instances, usually with the guild leader on his level 60 helping us blast through lower level places.Anyhow, best memory from that is a run through UBRS, with a full guild group. It wasn't the best run (one of our healers was constantly falling or getting lost or pulling) but it was my first big group, and it was a ton of fun for me.
Mine would be the opening events leading into the Burning Crusade. Doing all the events, getting the special tabard. Waiting around the portal for the time to come, all the PvP that happened! The final moment of loading up BC and going through the portal and seeing a whole new world to explore was awesome.
My favorite memory of WoW was back in vanilla. After spending a lot of time getting my first character, a warrior, to level 60. I was a miner and spent countless hours circling around Un'goro crater to mine Rich Thorium Veins for Arcane crystals. Selling all the crystals allowed me to gather enough gold to buy my epic mount training which was quite expensive back then. The game had already been out for about a year and many of the elite players already had epic mounts. I felt really great having an epic mount and consider that one of my greatest memories. But I continued farming arcane crystals, because there was another thing I had dreamed about - the Arcanite Reaper :) Making that axe was another great memory.
My favorite memory in World of Warcraft were the opening of the Dark Portal! Oh the excitement!
My favorite memory was when I first started playing,I joined a random group for sfk and met people that i still play with
My favorite memory was first killing Hakkar. I was a noob at WoW at at that time, and in someways, still am :-) Doing that full instance with 20 people felt epic, especially with all that was going on with that fight. Our first kill was truly epic and felt amazing.
My favorite memory is from BC. I was still fairly new to the game having started playing on with the release of BC on a server that was new for BC. One night the guild I was in was doing Karazhan with two guild groups. And both groups got the mount Fiery Warhorse's Reins to drop and I won one the roll for one of the groups. I've used that mount since I got it. I might use a different ground mount here and there but I always go back to using this one. This memory is almost tied with the one of doing the entire warlock epic mount chain even though I was almost level 70 by the time I finished the chain it was still awesome to do and one of the best fights.
My favorite memory from wow has to be the first friend i made leveling. I originally started a night elf hunter and didn't know what to do. I literally went around just killing tigers for an hour straight until this kind girl helped me out. She offered to give me some gold to train and together we quested up untill level 30. I bought BC and then re-rolled a bloodelf but i never forgot her kindness. She found me again towards the end of wrath and we giggled for hours about different things we had been doing. To this day she has been my best friend. Couldn't have made it here without her help. :P prolly still be killing those poor tigers (sorry <3)
