Way, way, way back in ye olde days of Ulduar, me and my guild were sittin' at Hodir. Now he wasn't some super big threat or anything. Sure, we'd wipe a few times maybe but he'd be going down. We start the fight. As usual, the beginning goes smoothly, NPCs are freed and we don't die. Except then someone dies. Then more people. The boss is so close to dying when just all hell breaks loose. I get aggro. As a paladin, I of course bubble and freak out. In them days, however, I wasn't some usual paladin. I hammer of wrath'd that guy and again and again! Everyone was dead! My bubble broke! He slapped me and my life flashed before my eyes.My CD came up. We won. A lone paladin had faced the might of Hodir and won. I was the hero of Hodir and was immortalized in gmotd. HAIL ARGIAS, SAVIOR OF HODIR!
My favourite memory was when I was in Northrend and a scary 85 alliance pally started attacking me. I was only about level 70 and i was almost dead when the impossible happened. HE GOT DISCONNECTED :D so after a few minutes of him dodging and parrying and whatnot, he died and I was laughing out loud.HAPPY MEMORY :)
I stared playing just after BC came out, and still love the game. I can't really decide on which memory's the favorite, but here goes some:First off, i started playing on Emeriss, a couple of friends played there and i started a hunter. I hooked up with an unknown lvl35+ guy that wantedme to tag along him awhile and got me out of Durotar and into the Barrens. I remember seeing all the *skulls* instead of lvls on the mobs there really gave me a fright! ;))Then after lvling some, i was going to switch to Thousand Needles and met my first group of gankers/corpse-campers, that's gotta be the single most worst memory, mad frustrating, i logged out after like 15 minutes and 5 kills...Anyhow, i'm not much of a pvper so i switched to the Ghostlands server and got on to some epic lvling, early on and still i can't decide which class i favor the most so i have me one or more of each classes on both horde and ally side, as i love to see all of what the game has to offer. One favourite memory was when i hit 60 and exalted with Thundebluff at the same time on my rouge, this was when rep-grind meant work. When i started the rogue, undead, i ran all the way to Mulgore at lvl 1, as i wanted a goal along side with my lvling, and i thought an undead gal on a big ass kodo to be a good goal. I searched for all TB-q-givers i worked the ungoro-soil like mad and wasn't going to buy me another horse, no way, i had to have that humvee-lookin kodo! So imagine my happiness when i hit exalted at the same time as i got to learn how to ride the lumbering oaf! ;))Another fav was when, back on Emeriss (pvp), on another horde hunter i set out, in the middle of the night at lvl24 i believe, to go and get Bellygrub in Redridge mountains, as he had the highest rank of bite or whatever spell it was, and i got him without a single ally seeing me. I swam all the way from Grom'gol to Westfall, sneaked around the outskirts of Elwynn Forest and into Redridge, got aggro from some guards, but managed to see all other players before they saw me due to tracking. I hearthed out, gave him back his name and learned the spell, i had him for a long time and many allys that just passed me actually targeted him when they saw his name, it seemed like they really got confused or whatever from seeing their own lil q-boar by my side. :)
My favorite moment in wow has always involved developing internet friends into real life friends.
My favorite memory from WoW? Oh man.. It's been a long journey. I've been playing since just after Patch 1.9: Gates of Ahn'Qiraj release. Even through all of that time.. I'm gonna have to say that one of my most favorite memories from WoW was only a relatively recent one.I leveled my Warrior, Paladin, and Death Knight all to 80 first. I then leveled my Balance Druid to 80. I applied to one of the high-end guilds on my server since they were calling for Moonkins. I was amazed when they reviewed my app and said that I was experienced and skilled enough to get in. I was semi-geared, nothing too special. We went into ICC, which was something my druid had yet to do. We cleared through all the bosses and stopped on Sindragosa. Went back in the next day, downed her on reg after a few attempts on Heroic to see how we fared. We went and killed the Lich King. Watching that scene in-game was probably one of the most epic things I've ever encountered.I know it's nothing special, since it's only so recent and lots of people got to experience it due to the casuality of Wrath of the Lich King. But it was a monumental occasion for me. I'd yet to get the Kingslayer title running with my regular guild. I actually got my second Kingslayer title in a PuG. My main raider in my regular guild never did get the title. Haha.If that's not good enough. I'm gonna have to say that my best memory ever was back before achievements came out. I had hit level 58 before BC came out and decided I didn't want to play my Paladin anymore. So I grabbed up my Warrior and started leveling from 25 and on. I completed just about every quest for every zone before the Loremaster achievement even existed. I hit Exalted with all 5 capitals at level 55 after dropping a few Runecloth turn-ins to the Gnomes, since I couldn't find anymore quests. Getting half of the Loremaster achievement on the day the achievements went live was amazing, Kalimdor was a stickler, but I finished it off before they reduced the necessary quests down to an even 700.
My favorite memory from from World of Warcraft would have to be when I was doing my Warlocks Class mount quest, along the way you meet a Crazy Gnome of sorts that wants you to preform tasks to help him summon something REALLY sinister, something so sinister that the ground will quake below its dark intent, EL POLLO GRANDE A GIANT CHICKEN! Yes, a giant chicken so sinister that Its going to wake you up at any time of night that it feels is morning.I loved the quest, I could not stop laughing when I first saw it, I took many screen shots of its dead corpse (Cruel fate didn't let it carry out its plans). I showed it to a friend of mine and his responce was "Wait, what! A GIANT CHICKEN? I'm making a warlock just to do that quest, brb" he logged over and made a warlock and leveled it all the way up, did the quest and instantly whispered me "That was quite possibly the best quest ever", to this day he plays his warlock as his main character.EL POLLO GRANDE FOREVER!
A healer friend really wanted a tiger mount (I found out from his wife that it was because he'd been a huge fan of Calvin and Hobbes) but he was unable to solo ZG (on account of being dual specced healing in order to adapt to what we needed in real raids and dungeons). So whenever we had free time, I'd run him through to the tiger boss. Within a month of old ZG being discontinued, the tiger mount dropped for us, the only time I'd seen either tiger or raptor mount drop. It was very exciting.(and to be fair I should mention, he farmed the ravenholdt rep boxes for me, to get our guild the United Nations achievement, which makes my top 10 favorite moments).
My favorite memory in WoW was when my friends introduced me to this game shortly after it came out. It looked amazing and I decided to try it with them. Since then I have been hooked on this game and it keeps me connected with them when they are not in my town. Also, I loved going on my first city raid of raiding all of the Alliance cities. Good times it was. Good times. FOR THE HORDE! LOK'TAR OGAR!
Okey well heres how the story begins :) Once playing on my troll hunter Ive suddently got dissconnected and was like hmm well this happens often no biggy ill log back but i ve got text saying that my password was incorrect ! I was really suprised it did not work even after several tries. Then few minutes after i got a call from real life mate of mine who was playing whit me when this happened. He said: Cmon stop Fooling around! why you left battleground and went to skettis farm meat ? (i had dnd farming meat) i was like WHAT ? im not playing!. So it was kinda clear at this point my account was hacked. We tried to speak to the guy who was playing on my hunter but he refused to give the charecter back. So after days of arguing whit the hacker he suddently was gone from server... so ive started to play on a new account on a server where i never played before called Ahn qiraj. ive started a new hunter and when i reached glorious level 10 i went to see if anybody to duel outside orgrimmar and then BOOOM what did i see ! exactly same looking hunter as my own same gear was at the server. So i did think hmm could it be..no way... Well lets try something. I whispered him my account name and he was like how in the hell i did know it and ive explained false story about how gm helped me track him down and say to him that he got one more change to give my account back. And oh boy it worked ! so thats how a troll hunter called Naggi at sylvanas became a troll hunter at ahn qiraj :) Thanks if you bothered to read the wall of text about my best moment in wow .AH and by the way if you wonder did i contact a gm. Yes i did and ther answear was hilarious. They said that Ticket needs to be submitted on the account im needing the help.... so my friends ticket couldnt save me and i couldnt make ticket on my own account for obivious reason.
