My favorite moment in Wow was really the very first 5mins of playing the game (back at vanilla wow), it was my very first mmorpg and I hadn't seen anything like it. I had made a dwarf paladin and just seeing the massive icy mountains all around and me just standing there as this awesome ginger bearded dwarf really got me immersed in the whole surroundings, no other game came even close to the scale Wow was at the time and I was literally gobsmacked at how detailed everything was, I mean I was only like 14 or so and I hadn't really been playing many multiplayer PC games and while this was my favorite moment it's also one of the saddest as with any game you never get back that magic moment when you play something completely out of this world for the first time and you actually spend 30mins just looking at everything.

My favorite moment in WoW was the very first time I played, right after vanilla came out I downloaded the 10 day trial and made an undead.
My favorite memory was going through The Dark Portal for the first time. I did this during Wrath of the Lich King, but having played Warcraft 1, 2, and 3 made it really exciting for me.
My best memory has to be one when I suddenly understood how large the game was. It was on the first or second day of me playing the game and some kind person offered to take me to see the sea to Menethil Harbor (back in TBC days). He said that I should take a gryphon taxi and gave a whole gold for me to do that. I was thinking that there will probably be a loading screen or something, but, suddenly, the gryphon started to fly over all the lands and water below, that were between my departure and destination points. I was so excited by it - the only feeling I remember I had at the time was: "Wow!" All I could do was scream excitedly: "A dragon!", "A spider!", "A dwarf!" The flight from Stormwind to Ironforge doesn't take long, but it seemed like it lasted for hours - me hungrily at the screen trying not to miss any detail. The novelty of it has, of course, long since faded, but that memory is still with me to this day.
Back in the days when the Burning Crusade was released and Hyjal Summit was a MUST for every Warcraft history fan, I remember me and my guild struggling through to get better gear so we can do the raid. All lay long for about two weeks we had to collect gear so we can have the required attributes. Once we had the gear and entered Hyjal Summit it was an epic battle. None of us knew the tactics, because we wanted to learn them as we face the enemy, it was a massacre. When we finally defeated Archimonde it was a glorious moment. We were able to experience an amazing part of the Warcraft history and we just wanted to travel through Azeroth and spread the word that we took part in the battle against Archimonde. The funny thing is, back then WoWHead.com was not that popular but we were using it. So I believe that I can honestly say that WoWHead was with me and my guild all the way from the beginning of the gear collection, to the very end when we stood proud next to Archimonde's dead body.Thank you WoWHead for bringing so much information to our lives, so easy, without asking for anything in return (except disabling AdBlock on your website /cough)
My favourite was when i dinged my first character to level 80. I got a lot of good moments in WoW, but nothing can match making your first character to 80 without the help of others.
My favorite memory of WoW was taking my fiance to the top of the waterfall in redridge/lakeshire and just hanging out, having a picnic and fishing. Simple, but memorable. I love the thrill of difficult pvp matches and the elation of a hard boss kill, but nothing else sticks in my mind as much as the little things we do just to have fun, because we can.
my favorite memory is getting my first toon to 85 and just haveing fun with the battlegrounds and just earing as much honor points as i can and getting the pvp gear
My favorite memory from Wow and Why?Uhmm...Thas was around Feb. 2010.It was at the first times of my WoW journey, while playing on one of my friend's account, toying with a Death Knight. I was both trying to understand the game and the lore's itself. Worked for Arthas, quests, areas, and the battle " The Light of Dawn " quest. was watching it very carefully, in details, still was trying to understand what is going on there and when i realised that Darion Mograine is talking to his father and getting reminded what he was living for and what was his purpose of life; my own dad came to my mind, an old word of him, told in 2002, a cople of days before he's gone, " If you forget what you are living for, you forget your humanity " my eyes were wet a for a little and doorbell waked me up from the dream...M.G
My favorite memory of WoW is reaching the Armor Penetration cap in WotLK. As hunter, it wasn't the easiest thing to get. My guild was compeltely excited about it. Its a shame Blizzard deleted ArPen from the game :(
My favorite moment must have been when I first killed the Lich King, the awesome moment when he finally fell to the ground. That was long way.
My favorite moment in wow was when I got my second 85 I always wanted another toon level capped because that means more gold. I currently have 9k gold on my mage and 7k gold on my lock. I also liked when I got my 100th mount on my main. sry for bad grammar. using iPod
This maybe a little bit strange, but one of my favorite memories is the day we held an in-game memorial service at a nice spot in Nagrand for a guild member who passed away after a period of illness. Although the reason for our meeting was rather sad, it was good to see many people come together and share stories and fond moments, even people who only new him briefly or people that had moved on to another guild. It was good to see that although we are all here to play a game there's enough room for more serious matters and feelings.
