The memory that I have with WoW is when my friend came up to our group and said, "You should get World of Warcraft." To me I thought it was like a regular game, but it was my very first MMORPG and from that day I enjoyed playing the game with my friends.
I think my favorite memory is when Cataclysm released. I came in during WotLK, so it was my first expansion experience and a major thrill.
I think my most favorite moment in wowhead was when i was a fair and young lad running around in outlands in hellfire peninsula and all of a sudden i got destroyed by my good ol nemesis, Fel Reaver. Not quite knowing what just happened, i went to my trusty wowhead site and gathered priceless intelligence on him and learned quickly to avoid my screen shaking and his piercing howl as best i could
My favorite memory of WoW is from just after I started playing. I had created a Forsaken warrior, and I was running around questing and thinking myself pretty awesome, and suddenly I see this green swirly door on this castle-looking place. I remember thinking to myself, "Oh cool! I wonder what's in there? So I ran past the 5 other people standing outside and dragged myself right on through the entrance to Shadowfang Keep. I took about five steps through the door and immediately commenced to getting my ass kicked by a pissed off werewolf. As soon as I realized I had made a horrible mistake, I turned around and ran for the door. I had about 100 health when I came screaming through the exit. I stopped to let my health recover, and this nice priest named Corpsebride started healing me. Her boyfriend, a paladin named Varcross whispered me and said they were about to go through the dungeon when they saw me whiz by and run in alone. He said they laughed so hard when they saw my run in, only to come running right back out almost dead. We chatted for a few minutes, and they let me join their group and they carried me through. After that dungeon I joined my very first guild, "Ravens." I spent two years with them, and they became some of my closest friends, in-game and in real life. We had some great times together running around Azeroth. I'm glad I met them, because they showed me what WoW is really all about: Meeting awesome people and having fun together!
My favorite world of warcraft time would have to be when me and my guild all first saw the leroy jenkins video to go and mess around and try and replay that scene. We all about died laughing. It was a good time!
My favorite memory is from way back in vanilla, not too many months after release. I was trying to complete the various Booty Bay quests that culminated in having to kill the three Bloodsail captains. I was not really high enough level for it, and the respawn rates were ridiculous. A good friend of mine brought his high level hunter to help me out. We spent over an hour in all three of those ships trying to kill the quest mobs. Every possible thing that could go wrong with the pulls, did go wrong; pet aggro, respawns, bad tab target, etc. The whole scene was so ridiculous, not to mention how difficult it was for either of us to see in any of the ships since we were both playing taurens. I spent the last fifteen minutes of that ordeal in tears from laughing so hard.
Presence of Mind + Polymorph'ing people off of their flying mounts and watching them fall to their deaths in TBC beta. If I wouldn't have done it so much there, maybe it would have made it Live.
Hehe, lol.. Now, I haven't played for a long time, but I've got a favorite moment that neither me or my friends will forget! I started , and I started this feral druid called "Rævsusar". It wasn't long until I reached lvl 85. Not long after, I heard some friends of mine, talking about "The Raven Lord" and how long time they've tried to earn it. Now, they've taken it for a very long time, once every single day without any signs of it. Then it happened (xD). I was going down in Setheek Halls for my third attempt., I went in, took out Anzu and BOOM! It happened, it actually dropped!I had a conversation with some friends going(skype), as I usually have, and I just: "Oh my god! It dropped!". They refused what I said, and chose not to belive in me, but then they saw the achievment and... well... let's just say I heard alot of interesting sentences in that conversation! ^^For me... haha, it's the moment both me, and my buddies, would agree on as the greatest moment in "World of Warcraft" of mine!
For me it would be when i was traveling around the world with my shaman (for the World Explorer achievement on WotLK) and found Azuregos, i had no idea about him, so i said "why not" and started fighting. After half an hour (a bit more) i managed to kill him, it was my first time soloing an old raid boss and it wasnt easy, so i felt like i did something great at that moment =P.After that i decided to give Onyxia a try (when it was a level 60 raid), it took some time (around an hour and a half), but i managed to kill her and got an Orb of Deception :D
my favourite memory in world of warcraft is when I got my first ever realm first end boss kill, which was now in this tier, Nefarian HC, and my name popped on the whole server and I got spammed with whispers :P
