My favorite memory is when on my birthday my friend took me to my favorite zone and used the lovely picni basket, traded me a peice of cake and spelled out my characters name with fireworks
My favorite moment was when I was a gost. Once I where a big noob lvl 7(night elf) . I wanted to go to stormwind because i hate leveling in night elf area but first i needed to get in Ironforge. But I always took the boat to wetlands , so there where lvl 20-24 crocodiles and a dangerous path trough the mountains. And ofcours I got killed by a crocodile so I became a gost ,then I figured a plan a great plan.I would take the path trough the mountains while I'm a gost so I did, And when i arrived in Ironforge I couldn't find a spirit healer to res me .And when i finnaly found one and accepted the ress, this happend 3..2..1.I WAS TELEPORTED BACK TO WETLANDS SPIRIT HEALER !So i did it again without gostform.Ofcours i died few times but i made it to Ironforge and took the train (underground)and i arrived in Stormwind thats why this was my favorite moment because I remember it and I was so happy that I made it otherwise I wouldn't play wow anymore :- :)
My favorite memory... Oh thats a hard one. But, I think that must be when I got my green raptor mount on my first character, a troll hunter. It was back in the days when you got your first mount in lvl 40 and they actually cost a lot... I was so proud of getting the raptor mount, lvl 40 and the gold for the training. Also I thought the mount was just awesome. Simple, but just so cool. Riding around in Durotar with 60% speed, feeling like the fastest mount ingame!
I consider myself to be lucky and/or blessed by Elune to have been in Nature's Grace on the Cenarion Circle RP server. It was - as far as we know - WoW's 1st all-Druidic guild. We did 5-mans, then 10s and finally 25s, as well as PvP & world events, in all-Druid groups. But the memory that stands out for me was taking my young Druidess, and having her accidentally fall into Un-Goro Crater while peeking over the edge from Tanaris. I didn't die in the fall, but I couldn't get back up into Tanaris, hearthstone was on cd, the map was a big blank, and everything I saw was all skulls to me. These were the years before flight form, flying mounts in Azeroth, or even an alliance mage port in Theramore. I was trying to just stay alive while trying to figure out where the flight path was, while guildies were racing from all over to try to come rescue/escort me back out of there. It was called Terror Run for a *very* good reason, and seeing a devilsaur slowly materialize out of the mist is heart-stopping for a little 35 who has already blown her dash!~Darquenezz of Cenarion Circle~
My best moment was when I beated for the first time Onyxia, I was lvl 60, of course it was the old version of the raid, lot off peeps everywhere, all noobs (excepted certain). When you see the raid for the first time, the big entrance whit this massive Dragon mouth, and Onyxia, this terrible and very big Dragon ! I remember I told her damage with my wand, this was awesome, the raid leader shouted into the microphone so that people avoid the Flame Breath and the final loots was epic ! Great time ...
Back when I started off with World of Warcraft I had no idea what class I would pick. I went for the class which had the best description for me, The Paladin. So I created my Human Female Paladin and began my quest for becoming a hero. At first I was like most new players. I had no idea what to do, I did the same instance multiple times for fun and generally played the game. The feeling of playing this heroic class, this protector of the light was a feeling no other could compete with. I still look back at those days. The laughters, the frustrations and the fun I had with my friends. I long for those days, but can never go back. Fond memories and I still play the class. But there is one particular memory I have. We were doing ZG me and the guild. We were at the raptor boss and we did the usual. But when it went down, something miraculous happened in vent, it got quiet. The mount dropped. After a few seconds someone said something and everyone started to argue on who should have it. We decided on a raid roll and I won. This was back in the days when there was no skill for riding a mount, which gave me a free epic riding skill when the patch hit live. But that feeling of having something that rare in the game could never be beaten during my gameplay, ever!Aion // Burning Legion
My favorite moment was when I first started playing World of Warcraft five years ago, I was currently playing a night elf warrior at that time. I was running around killing mobs, doing a couple of quests. Thinking that this game is huge with nice and green surroundings and a city called Darnasus in the middle. I explored Darnasus and went through this green looking thing. Suddenly I had a loading screen. I looked at my map and noticed that I was outside Teldrassil! I sat there with an open mouth as I realized how big this game really was.
The first year that myself and my friends were playing Wow during the Feast of Winter Veil. Once we discovered you could wrap items and mail them off for others to open all of our mailboxes soon became stuffed full of as much crap as we could find. Wrapped up Mining Picks, Broken Deadly weaponry and the occasional Bear Gall Bladder. Ah, the Great-Winter spirit was thriving that year.
Finishing the Loremaster achievement on my orc warrior during WotLK is probably my favorite moment so far. I was missing a few quests for the Kalimdor achievement and was running low on places to find them.. Then I decided to go check Mulgore for some reason and ended up laughing at myself as I finished the title by doing the very first Tauren starting quests.
My favorite moment was when i was around level 11. Probably the 2nd day I played wow. I was in moon brook in west fall where deadmines is located. I was walking around killing mobs outside of deadmines not knowing what deadmines was at the time. Then when i entered this house I saw in moonbrook and went upstairs...just to find out that there was a cave inside this house! I was freaking out with excitement when I saw a portal after walking all the way through the mines in stealth on a rogue. I had no idea what this portal was and I thought I was the first person to discover deadmines!
Favorite time for me has to be during the first year that that the headless horsemen was available to kill. Me and a group of RLF got together and did our five man que (so cool back then). It was our third round on him and his mount dropped. We all random rolled and i beat out my brother in law by one point, the first of us to get it. Even to this day he gives me a hassal from time to time about that one. :)
