My favorite memory from World of Warcraft was hitting level 80 on my first toon and immediately being brought into a raid. My guild obviously carried me through that first encounter (Onyxia), but it was still a lot of fun having no idea what to do and running around trying not to die. It was a great feeling to face such a powerful enemy and being able to defeat them with nothing but teamwork (and a few over-geared guildies).
My favorite wow moment had to be during lvl 71 as a enchanment shaman in WOTLK, i was lvling together with a m8 which played a warrior(prot spec). We like pvp and we jumped everyone we noticed. We were in Borean thundra when i was suddenly jumped by a frostmage which had a 80 mage with him aswell. I died very quickly, so i yelled to my warrior m8 to take revenge. Amazingly we killed both of them and started corpsecamping the 80 mage which was wearing epic gear. Then we moved on to Dragonblight @ the Moa'ki Harbor 3 player at our lvl range, we dident care about the guards we just wanted to have fun so we went for it. Suddenly a ret paladin in full tier 10 came we died amazingly fast. So we decided we release at the same time and go all out on the paladin. Strangly we were able to withstand the dmg from the other players with defensive CD's and healing from me. In the end we kill the paladin but then he called for help from his guild. it was 7 players chasing us across dragonblight killing us inside Wyrmrest temple. Now it was our time to feel the pain but we still managed to kill the paladin 2 times in wyrmrest but died because of the guards.Swifty after his death the paladin which was named "Critoris" ( pretty sure he was refering to clitoris) whisperd my m8 on a alt starting to trash talk him and telling him he and his guild would hunt us down. And the most funny part was him telling my m8 that he had a childish name (Julia), and him self having a reeeeeeaaaaal childish name. Ofc i or my m8 never heard from this guy again. The reson why i favor this memory is cause it proved that even with our lvl and gear dissadvantage we still were able to kill geared max lvl players with the use of teamwork and planning. And this is somthing which i feel is getting forgoten in wow in the latest expansions, which was waaay more commonlyfavord back in Vanilla times.
I was playing on my Warlock back in early Burning Crusade, at around 35 I think, when somebody in one of the city channels, I think it was /Trade but I don't remember, said they were starting a raid on th Night Elf starting area, Shadowglen, and I decided to join it. We rode/ran all the way to Auberdine from my closest flight point, which was Zoram'gar as I recall, hijacked a boat, and charged past the guards into the Darnassus canals. Out of the like ten people in my part of the raid, most of whom were either 70 or close to it, I was the only one who survived and actually made it into the relative safety of the canals.Everyone slowly regrouped and we swam to the far end of the canals, snuck out of the city and to the South, and I summoned everyone else. We all went up to an area above Shadowglen, ate Deviate Delight, and charged down the hill as a bunch of ninjas and one pirate. Within ten minutes, everyone had been killed by 70s in full top PvP gear. So some of us sat around a campfire telling jokes and stories, and at the end of the night I got a new guild. Had several fun years with that guild...
My favorite memory was winning the Big Love Rocket the first year it came out... and on my druid no less, so I got to rub it in some faces while I was at it ^^
So where shall I start, it all began with a little movie created by some famous developers and a label called "Blizzard Entertainment". About 6 years ago I've seen an fantastic trailer of a video game called "World of Warcraft", the day which I will never forget, seeing the wonderful animated dwarf hunter up the hills of Ironforge, with his brave bear and his rifle, walking through the snows of Dun Morogh and waiting for the Tauren to fight. That was the first introduction of World of Warcraft to me and hey, since this happening I'm in favor of playing dwarves in every possible class.
My favorite moment in wow is when i get cause is my first rare mount and at lvl 70 is one of the most rare ever so i love this mount and still remember this party :)
My best memory was doing a For The Alliance raid onto thunderbluff... this was before cata so we were all taking the lifts when a shaman came up and.... i think its called thunderstorm.... us all off. as you might imagine, we all died. the end
Mine would have to be rolling 100 in a fairly recent (all lvl 85, open roll TK run) on Ashes of Alar. Once I saw that one followed by two zeros I was amazed and very happy. Previous rolls had all been under 40.Then I wondered, where is it?Why is it not in my bags?Just as I see another 100 roll from someone who quickly jumped to wowhead to check what quest the sphere gives you. To this day I have no idea how draw-rolls work, but I lost faith in Need Before Greed after that day when my 100 lost to another.Mind you, having rolled 100 on it felt pretty damn good!
My favorite memory from wow was the first time I fought Ragnaros. His battle theme music is a little worn and rusty now, but back then... Hearing the drums start up, seeing Ragnaros erupt, the adrenaline started pumping, and it got serious.Ragnaros is still one of my favorite fights to this day, just because of the amazing introduction.
It took me over a year, but i finaly got my damn violet protodrake, and the achives from all the world events. It felt so good to finaly get it done, but was it worth it?... Hell no!
My favorite memory was when Cata was launched, I was still new to WoW and my brother and I waited in line at midnight to pick up our copies. We rushed home and played for about 6 hours or so, grabbed about 4 hours of sleep and then played most of the next day. It was awesome having everyone n the same quests. The atmosphere those first days/weeks was off the hook!
My favourite memory goes back to when I first started playing WoW. When every region brought wonder, amazement and danger. It was great when you moved into a new region and everything was new. Of course there has been a lot of great memories since but nothing quite like the first few months of finding your feet. It was great beig a noob.
