My favorite memory is the day when i started to play with World of Warcraft! I heard about this game from my brother and we started to play together with WoW. It doesnt took long me to realize this is the best game which have ever been made. Im still an addict to WoW and this will never change! :)
Making my first toon in TBC, a blood-elf pala:) I was happy, exited because I had just seen WoW once before at my freind. I made a pala and was happy when I got my first blue thing in Ghostlands after having trouble killing the guy in the last quest there. Had been searching for a group for ages and finnaly found one and we killed him!:D I was so happy that day:3
My favorite memory is actually from the beta. I had my 60 toon, sitting in Darnassus on her Tiger mount at the top of the long staircase as the world ended. It felt very epic with the whole event going on. I felt like a phoenix. Going out in a blaze of glory fighting the endless waves of demons, but knowing i would be reborn into the new world. Infernals crashed to the ground around me, characters and NPCs ran for their lives, and the world servers went quiet. Cheers!*edited for grammar
Hands down, my favorite memory in WoW was the first time my guild pulled Ragnaros back in the day. We had no clue what to expect, and seeing that gigantic explosion of fire as he popped out and slew Executus was just amazing. That experience, more than anything else, sealed me as a raider.
My favorite memory of WoW was entering the dark portal. I joined in BC so I never experienced vanilla end game. I was a human rogue. I used to spend so much time not leveling or questing. I was kind of a scrub back then. I remember once I tried to enter and it gave me the error. When I hit level 58, I sprinted to the portal and jumped through. I hadn't even seen what Outland was like. It was jaw dropping. When I finally reached 70, geared up through heroics and pvp gear (lol!) I remember entering my first raid. Karazhan. We downed Moroes and I got his dagger. It felt amazing. My first real epic item! I put 15 agility on it (from a kind guild member) and loved it so much. I still have it in my bank somewhere.I think my other favorite memory was killing the Lich King. I spent so much time in Wrath of the Lich King preparing for that battle and spent so much time at his throne attempting to kill him. We spent months not getting him down. The moment we all died (from Shadowmourne) I pushed the keyboard back and cursed a few times. Then I clicked "release spirit" and it said "you cannot do that right now". I was like "wtf guys, how come I can't release?" and they were all like "DUDE WE BEAT HIM!"My heart skipped a beat. It was my favorite memory so far.Edit: I would probably have to add a few things to this. I also loved when wall-hacking was still possible using a Priest's Levitate ability. My friend and I found no boundaries in the game world before Cataclysm. We hung out in the actual zone of Ahn'Qiraj (not the instance). We would roam the mountains of Stranglethorn Vale looking for the NPC that sold the tiger mount (no longer in game database). I remember getting some cool screenshots from behind the dark portal, up on the mountain. My favorite places to explore were beneath Ironforge, Mount Hyjal (pre-no-man's-land debuff), behind Graymane's wall, and many other places. I took pride in the fact that I have seen much of the game that many players didn't even know existed and doesn't exist anymore with Cataclysm.I have also been to both GM islands and the Emerald Dream and explored the giant trees that flow water from their branches. I can't tell you how I got there though. =PEdit2: My most current favorite memory is joining the guild The Esoteric on Terokkar. I just joined them recently. They're not a hardcore raiding guild but we do raid. I think what sold me on this guild was that the 2nd day I was in it, they had an open contest to all guild members and the first prize was a Mechano-hog! Second prize was nice too: 7000g. Third prize was 3k gold. We all made Gnome alts on a different server and we had a cross-country rally to Orgrimmar. First one to /hug Garrosh won. It was exciting! I ended up in 6th place and won 100g but that was alright with me! I would feel bad about winning the hog since I just joined the guild. The guild is super friendly and helpful. The guild leader is an absolutely awesome person. It's not as much of a memory as it is a current experience, but this guild is my favorite in all of WoW. They're such awesome people. I was previously in some really bad guilds. Too much drama.
I've Always been an avid Pvper, i love world pvp more than anything, One afternoon i was just doing my genral rounds of herbing to make back money for them damn http://www.wowhead.com/item=60838... when i was jumped from surprise by a paladin. we had an awsome battle but clearly being more skilled i outplayed the paladin and killed him. i didnt wait around too much as i knew he would be back... like i thought the paladin found me ran upto me and /bow and /kneel before me :D was so chuffed
I remember when I started to actively play WoW that I had rolled a Draenei warrior, not really sure what profession would be the best to use. I was at an impass of choosing jewelcrafting and blacksmithing. I didn't know the pros or cons and wasn't quite so bold as to ask a higher level toon on the realm I started out on. So, like the noob I had been, I chose to go the route of herbalism and alchemy simply because I didn't know any better. One day I happened to be in Auberdine, working on the prof, and all of a sudden, there happened to be a small group of Horde players come running through, destroying the NPCs that attacked them. I was in sheer awe of the gall they possessed and watched as little scenes happened. Sure, there were words in the /say format, but being on Alliance side, I really couldn't understand due to the filters. Come to find out it was an RP bachelor party for one of the guild's leaders. It amused me and, so being nosy, I decided to roll a Horde toon, and watched as it progressed further and further as the festivities continued on. It intrigued me so much so that I sent an in-game whisper to one of the names I remembered and, thus, I found myself invited to the guild which later, became my main squeeze on the RP server. Go Horde!
My favorite memory may not be a nice one but was very satisfing and slightly humorous. Me and a friend were trying to lvl our toons in winterspring and the mobs we were trying to kill other people kept farming and to say the least we were getting a bit on the irratated side. Well this was during the winter holiday several years ago so i decided to get in general chat and asked if anyone else had found several gold in there presents under the tree in Ironforge well about 2 minutes later when i noticed local population had dropped i did a /who and found out there were 3 people still in winterspring and me and my friend was 2 of them. About 10 minutes later after me and my friend got done with what we were trying to do and laughing the whole time someone pst me and complained that no gold was in the presents my responce was "So sue me im a rogue"
I think my favourite WoW memory would have to be back in 2007, on April 1st. If some of you didn't know, Blizz decided to play a little prank on all the users by saying they were bringing Tin foil hats in game, where only engineers could make them. I was so excited, and of course i was one of the many people who posted in trade "WTB tin foil hat!". It seemed so real and everyone wanted one, I'm pretty sure i forgot the date when i heard there was a tin foil hat being added into the game. By the end of the day, of my long search of one of these tin foil hats, Blizz anounced their trolling. Either way though, it was my favourite memory of my playing days in WoW. I still wish to this day there were tin foil hats with the same stats they flaunted. :)
I think my favourite moment was the moment my 2v2 arena team was formed. We were the "Holy Cookies". Sure we only won about 50% of our matches, but man did the two of us ever have a fun time. I learned so much about the wonders of macros!

My favorite memory would be the when i finished my T0-Set on my Priest back in Vanilla. I think it took months until i had all the pieces together. But it earned me several comments when i finally started raiding.
Downing the Lich king for the first time one week before Cata was released. I remember not being that interested in RAID's and then getting asked to constantly help out. Did ICC a few times but never got past the bane of my WoW experiance, Cindragosa. In the week before Cata a guildy said they needed my help with ICC, I joined and luck be with me they downed Cindy and only needed to down Lich king. We wipe 5 times I think and then finally downed him. Was an epic way to enter a new expansion. :3
My favorite memories from WoW are the months I spent raiding Hyjal in TBC. This was the time in WoW which was the most fun for me. I remember one moment when we were doing Archimonde and every group had it's own TeamSpeak channel so we could coordinate better. We all forgot to get new tears from the NPC and it was until the first knock back came that we realized that it was missing. Fortunately we were three rogues and a druid. This is one of the moments I remember.
I will never forget the moment when, as a young troll warrior, I set foot in Sen'Jin Village. The music, raptors, witch doctor Bom'bay, trolls dancing and the music. Especially the music.
It's hard to choose a favorite WoW memory. Most of my favorite memories involve just doing silly things until ungodly hours of the morning, usually after a good raid night. Once some guildies and I went into our empty Black Temple instance and got our toons drunk while talking on vent for hours. That was such a hilarious night. There was also another hilarious night where a few of us were playing hide and seek in Dalaran, and then we went to the entrance at the sewers and played chicken jumping off the floating city. Many laughs were had.But I think, really, if I have to choose, my absolute favorite memory is when I was just starting out and wandering around Teldrassil and Darkshore. I love those zones so much, and they are full of nostalgia for me. I shed a few tears when I found out that Deathwing had destroyed Auberdine and killed some of the NPCs there.
My favorite memory goes all the way back to my first character, barely level 10, and stepping into The Barrens for the first time at night. These huge lightning kodos with skulls by their name were the scariest looking things I had seen. The Barrens were a complete flip of what I was use to in the lush and beautiful Mulgore. It immediately showed me the range of zones in World of Warcraft and I texted my friend saying I thought I stumbled upon a high level zone. It's those types of discoveries and "noob moments" that I miss the most today. The sense of wonder and astonishment of seeing things for the first time.I think it's something a lot of long time players today may take for granted.
My favorite memory in WoW is when I downed Al'Akir and finally got my Defender of A Shattered World. That achievement makes you feel like an important part in the events of Cataclysm and the fight to preserve Azeroth.
Cheers! My best memory from my WoW-Carrier was when I first started raiding Ulduar. I had just recently joined a new and upcoming guild and we where doing OK. Back then I was playing Arms, as fury was broken during early Ulduar, before you had the gear. We where wiping for weeks on Thorim Hardmode and it came to the point that our MT ragequit the guild. As we then where lacking a tank, and I was the only person who was abble to respec tank, so I went and did it. First raid I was in as Prot we oneshoted Thorim Hardmode, and we soon became the #1 Guild on our server. I've been Prot ever sence, and we are still the #1 Guild on the Server,Warriorsarri
