Feast of Winter Veil.I just love x-mass irl. Getting a chance to spend some in-game time with my friends in an all x-mass themed place is really awesome. And what better place then Azeroth? :P
My favourite holiday in WoW is Hallow's End! The quests are always fun, the headless horseman (and his mount) are so cool and the events are the most interesting of all the holidays. Not to mention riding on a broom is fun and being another class for a day (via masks) can be pretty interesting :)
I would say brewfest is my fav..just cause its the best out there
Lunar Festival for me. Any holiday that's centred in Moonglade has to be great! Fond memories of trying to kill Omen at 60...Or maybe nightmares...
Winter Veil! Absolutely. Love the Reindeer. That it the way to go.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?I absolutely love and look forward to the Midsummer festival. This is mostly due to the fireworks. I love them. I stock pile Midsummer Ground Flower by the 100's just so I can use them throughout the year to annoy my fellow guildies during raids by tossing them non-stop on the ground. I can usually get away with it for a week before my Guild Leader will suddenly shout on vent to "KNOCK IT OFF!" Good times... good times.Overall, my love for the Midsummer Festival likely stems from my enjoyment of summer in real life... allowing me to take that appreciation into the game and have some fun with it!
My favorite is definetely Noblegarden, and that's because of a somewhat recent event. I'm Brazilian, so forgive me for my english. Ever since I started playing WoW, around the time of the 2009 Brewfest, I haven't had the tendency to participate in World Events. I wasn't a big fan of them in general, and since I'm a "casual player", I was never at a high enough level to participate in the event bosses. Then, this year, I met my girlfriend through WoW. I played Raenec, my Tauren Hunter, who was back then in Wyrmrest Accord (but has been moved, with my girlfriend's toon, to our new server Garona), and I'd met her three weeks prior by chance. I was recruiting for the guild I was then present in, sending messages once a day to every low level character in the server, and by chance she was making a Horde alt exactly at that time, whom she had no intention of keeping, and she accepted the whisper invitation, which she had a tendency of refusing every time.Noblegarden was the first World Event I truly took part in, due to her. We got close to each other very quickly, and when Noblegarden came, on its very first day, we spent the whole day "together", sort of competing with each other, collecting eggs throughout the afternoon and seeing who would get achievements first (She got the title first lol). To be honest, it was one of the best experiences I've had in some two years of World of Warcraft. 20 days later, we started dating, and this december we meet for the first time.I'm entering the competition for her, not for myself... And I'm actually hoping I'll win the Second Prize, not the Grand or First prize. I don't care about the prizes for myself but she absolutely loves companion pets, and I'm sure she'd love to get a somewhat "exclusive" one. That's why I put so much effort into my post.Eckhardt, then Raenec, hopes that he can win this competition for his Sølemn.
Brewfest! In Brewfest everyone get's smashed in Durotar or Ironforge while trying to get rid of those Ol' Iron Dwarves, people spamming Orgrimmar all over the place and the epic Stein we get every year that passes. It is by far WoW's best world event when everyone get's drunk and dance! <3
My favorite World of Warcraft holiday is Brewfest, mainly because it was during that time that I met my current boyfriend two years ago and we really started doing things together in the game. We started working on my Violet Proto-Drake together and we got really close during that time and for that reason, Brewfest will always hold a dear place in my heart :) Plus during my first Brewfest, I also got lucky with mount drops and it fueled my mount and achievement addiction !
My favorite is day of the dead, and a close runner up is Halloween, i love the broomsticks and instant mount on them, and all the gimmicks out there with wands and such to fool around while you wait for next raid.NEf
Hallow's End for me, because it was the holiday event that going on when I first started.
Brewfest, who doesnt love to throw with beers and get free beers after again! Besides that, nobody is coming after you when you jump on your ram while puking and being drunk!
By far my favorite holiday is the Summer Fire Festival. It was the first WoW holiday I experienced and the boost to my experience and chance on hit fire damage was a huge help. I loved going anywhere I could to honor fires. Feeding the scorchling and watching it grow into this massive beast truly told me just how epic this game was going to be.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why? My favorite holiday is Hallow's End, I love the instant cast broom mounts!
