My favorite is Children's week. It's the one time of year I am nice to the alli and will actually help them get the achievments (only the ones for that holiday of course!).
Children's Week is both a favorite and most frustrating holiday. I'm not an avid PVP'er, and as all other carebear achievement hunters can tell you, this one is a real pain. I did manage to get in a big group of RL friends and stayed up through the night and endured over 12 hours of PVP in order to get the School of Hard Knocks achievement. I nearly jumped out of my chair when I finally got it. I do remember helping a few tauren repeatedly cap a tower in AV just to help them out. It's one of the rare moments I've had with friendly Horde. Plus, y'know, helping orphans is good. And stuff. :D
My favourite holiday is the Mid-Summer Fire festival. I guess it's because it speaks to my inner pyro. Also, it's a great holiday to level up alts due to all the fires you have to honor/dessicate. It also helps the bank account for the max level toons.
My favorite WoW holiday is Hallow's End. It's one of the easiest to plan an RP event for, and I enjoy seeing the costumes some of the people on my server create. This year, I dressed my Tauren Druid up as Tyrande Whisperwind. I put her in the Mooncloth Robes and put a Female Night Elf mask on her. One of the guys went as the Headless Horseman, and a female blood elf portrayed a Troll Witch Doctor quite well. The games the RP community on my server come up with for Hallow's End are always fun. It's just one of the easiest holidays to integrate into roleplay, which is the primary reason I play WoW!
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?Favorite holiday is brewfest because I have a chance at getting the cute kodo or ram, and adding them to my collection.
Ok, favoritist holiday ..hmm..can we pick all of them for the simple fact that if you do the achievements you get a pretty proto drake ? No? Too vague? OK OK fine, I will pick just one..<jeopardy theme music>. I would have to say Children's week. I know what you are thinking. "What could a big bad pally tank possibly find great about Children's Week?". Easy, I joke around quite a lot and always say " Always a boyfriend...never a husband, Always a groomsman...never a groom, Always an uncle ..never a dad, Always a pallbearer..never the corpse." WAIT! ...That last one doesn't fit. Anyways, going on 35 and still a wow addict by night, pastry chef by day, I haven't had to time to settle down and find a wife and have children....yet! I like the Children's week event cause I keep telling myself if not married and a father by the age of 40 I should adopt. I think I would be a great dad. So each year I take the wittle orphan and we go kick some butt , play ball, lick some tigule and Foror's Strawberry ice cream and we have a good ol' time. Just like what I imagine my own child/ren would be like. So there ya have it, laugh if ya will. see ya next Children's week when my little orphan and I destroy Deathwing and play pattycake with some pandas!Doughman
Hallow's End is defiantly my favorite! I love being able to be other classes via the wands that transform you into many other things! It is nice to change it up for once instead of being stuck with the same old class that your picked from the start!
Winter Veil! I love the new gift every year & wearing my Disguise Kit to become a Frosty Snow(wo)man!
Winter Veil... I just personally really like Christmas and get stoked to see people flying around on reindeer and dwarf like Santas!
Halloween..tons of candy, great costumes and most important..it's the one day of the year i get to take my costume OFF lol
My favorite is also Hallows' End because Halloween is actually my birthday. =)So I get a two week in-game celebration and it kind of feels like it's all for me. A little selfish, yea, but it's better than only getting it for one day a year. =)
