Brewfest easily, yay booze
I would have to say Love is in the air, because that's the only time the grumpy guards will flirt back!
Halloween , it always brings me back in time to when all of Horde would join together to take out the fire's of The Headless Horseman using buckets of water.
Gotta be the Winter Veil holidays, I just want the presents secretly but I tell people I enjoy their smelly, terrible jumpers.
My favourite wow holiday has always been Hallow's End because it was the first holiday in which I was able to really participate after I had started playing wow. I have a lot of fond memories of putting out fires in Azure Watch in order to save the poor little orphans *sniff sniff*.
My favorite holiday is brewfest!I really like both the mounts and the type of celebration. Ram racing is awesome, dark iron fights are awesome, all this alcohol is awesome! This is truly best holiday in wow.
Hallow's End -Halloween because headless horseman is scary good.
Winter's Veil!Who does not believe in Santa Claus? :P
honestly, not because thats what event is going, but i like hallows end the most because it gives the dark feeling to the alliance side too (i play ally) and i love all the little dailies to sabotage the other factions festival and its just a fun event all in all.
I happen to be pretty big on the new Pilgrim's Bounty holiday for a few reasons. The largest to date is that it's the best and cheapest way to powerlevel your cooking skill into late BC recipes. The other buffs and benefits like reputation gains and food buffs come as a plus for daily pushing.Secondly, it ties in very well with the American Thanksgiving holiday and forces players to sit down or partake in actually gathering and moving food between areas. This, along with the traditional (But hokey) Thanksgiving garb brings the game closer to the player and puts a bit of consideration into the player. Finally, while all holidays facilitate some player interaction, the Pilgrim's Bounty allows players to positively interact (By passing food about the table to other players, grouping up in Pilgrim garbs for the dungeon), it also allows for players to provide humorous 'Negative' interactions (Such as blasting rogues with turkey shooters and throwing food around the table). In sum, great for leveling and grinding; makes the game applicable to the player in a real world context; allows players to interact in a variety of ways.
My favorite holiday is Halloween, I am sure a thousand people agree, but my reasons for it are largely because Halloween is pretty much dead nowadays. Kids hardly trick or treat, and I am too old to do the same, I feel like a large part of my childhood has been erased from existence. But I can at least celebrate an equivalent on WoW. The dark atmosphere, the Horseman himself, and all the goodies to be had never bore me year to year, and feeling both entertainment and rage that my Loot-Filled Pumpkin once again does NOT contain my mount that I WILL have BTW, so help me god... It's this combination of things that make me prefer Holiday over anything else.
Hallow's End absolutely ! Its the best event in WoW, there is a lot of achies, uncluding "Hallowed by the Name", and ofc Headless Horseman mount obtainable :)
Midsummer Fire Festival!I love summer more than any other part of the year, and I love all the stuff happening in-game during this festival and the neat items we can get from it as well!
My favourite is Childen's Week! So so many pets to collect. Almost done now, just a few to go ;)
