Winter's Veil is alittle weird for horde esp with all the shrunken gnome heads decorating the christmas tree in Org. I mean come on there's so much more one could do with shruken gnomes heads besides throwning them up on a tree. How about pinatas for goblin orphans for example. But ya gotta like the bloodelves in full holiday dress, or lack there of.Love is in the air, meh, not too keen on throwing rose petals at alliance when I'm used to throwing shadowbolts, but I keep in mind it's just target practice. Now Hallow's End rocks! Here is a holiday designed for the horde. Ya gotta love flying in on a broomstick and stink bombing the alliance. I just wish the effect would last alot longer. ;)
Hallow's End! When I started playing WoW this event was going on. The game was new to me, and I thought it was just so awesome to have real holidays put into the game. I love the changes they made this year! This is one holiday I'll never get sick of!
Love is in the air, because I can flirt with the npc's. That guard over there's my girlfriend actually ;)
Brewfest! My first ever experience of a holiday in World of Warcraft. Can still remember being completely baffled when trying to ride a ram without going super-slow speed; racing around against my guild mates. We meet up there every year now even though the guild has moved on and we've taken our separate paths - it's not all about the holiday for me, more of whom I get to spend it with. Except now, I win every race! Obviously a holiday with so much beer and Dwarves around is already set out to be awesome, and my Pink Pachyderm was named Tango three years ago as a joke and still gets referred to as that. Yes, Brewfest brings back some of my most fantastic and fondest memories.
I would have to say the month of october marks the best holidays. As a veteran player I can count on the Coren and the Headless Horseman updates to help bridge the gap in gear items from being a casual player. I still haven't landed a kodo or Horsemen's reins in 3 years but it's what keeps me coming back.
I was a big fan of the Spirit of Competition from 2008, which coincided with the Beijing Olympics. It was something a bit different, and it got everyone out doing things they might not normally do. Plus, it brought some of the excitement of the Olympics into the World of Warcraft. I really hope they bring it back for London 2012.
Children's Week! I love getting the chance to see parts of Azeroth I haven't been to in a while, and my favorite pet is Speedy.
Winter Veil. Christmas has always been my favorite season of the year, both ingame and irl. :)
hallow's end, ths boss is fun(headless horseman) and the achievements are too :)
Halloween, cause I get to dress my kid up :P
For me, I would say Hallow's End is my favorite. It reminds me of all the time I get to spend with my brother going to many different haunted houses when we can. Halloween is our favorite holiday :D
My favorite holiday would have to be Children's week! Besides the fun pets that are available each year, I enjoy taking the orphans to see the world (...of warcraft). I even put away my aversion to PvP for long enough to take the kids to the School of Hard Knocks! I look forward to it every year!
Hallow's End - it's my favorite holiday in real life so it's gotta be in WoW. And come on, who doesn't giggle at the thought of getting the Headless Horseman's horse?
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I like getting stuffed!
