me? my favorite holiday is hallows end cause i get to dress up like a super man and wear a pumpkin on my head.
Hallows end if my favourite due to the silliness of the things I can do. The Horseman is quick and fun, throwing pumpkins on peoples head amuses me, and I love using my horseman's helm to do his laugh. I am also amused by covering up my ugly undead face with an undead male mask. Ya, it's stupid, but I enjoy it.The horseman's mount is also one of the coolest mounts in the game.
Children's Week is the best!Better than, all the rest! All you haters, kiss my butt!My favourite pet is the Elekk, Peanut!Help the orphans, to and froOver Azeroth, and to Outlands we go.Treat them well, give them hope and life...so they don't grow up to be a rogue and knife you from behind. :\
My favorite holiday would have to be Winter Veil. You can't go wrong with getting free gifts from a guy pretending to be Grandfather Winter (just don't ask to sit on his lap) and not to mention, the nifty little questline to save Winter Veil by freeing Metzen (you wouldn't think a reindeer with a name like would be easily captured, but I digress) from the clutches of evil.
It's definitely a tough choice between Hallow's End and the Lunar Festival for me. Hallow's End brings endless amusement with the witches hats on all the statues and people running around all dressed up with masks and costumes ^^But the Lunar Festival wins the title of my favourite world of warcraft holiday event. Travelling to moonglade, seeing all the beautiful lanterns and fireworks, and the outfits we get to wear in time for the chinese new year always makes my character just stand there and enjoy the festival. And visiting to all the elders and honoring them, it definitely feels special making the dedicated trek to see all of them during the event - even into enemy territory at times. The red envelopes are great too, I always feel luckier during this time of the year :) I could just imagine sitting in moonglade with friends, eating dumplings and red rice, watching the beautiful firework displays together. This year I had a lantern pet of my own to follow me around visiting the elders too :) Having a light to guide my way around the post-cataclysmic azeroth was comforting, and welcome as I had a better look at all the changes.
Children's Week was my very first holiday when I came into WoW. I'm a pet fanatic and I got my very first pet (Speedy - I love turtles) from Children's Week. It also started my insane collecting. For me it was an amazing time of exploration and learning some little bits of lore. The achievements added later had my friends and I thwomping battlegrounds together to get the title for Long Strange Trip. It was also an amazing time of Alliance and Horde cooperation as one of the opposing faction would walk into the flag room in WSG, pick up the flag and then drop it for the other side to pick up.Every children's week I get warm fuzzies ranging from memories of being new at the game, my first pet, and my first real foray into PvP.
It's hard for me to decide between Brewfest, Hallow's End, or the Feast of Winter Veil. Brewfest because it was the first event I faced as a clueless noob; and the drinking of marvelous ale. Hallow's End due to my endless hunt for The Horseman's Reins; and if I recall correctly it was the first event with the new achievement system. Feast of Winter Veil simply cause it was the first event after I dinged 80, making it the first event I understood completely; and I simply love the Christmas holidays. All events are great cause of free gifts and xp though. :)If I do have to choose ONE, it have to be the Feast of Winter Veil. Tough decision. -Slay.
Pilgrims Bounty - You can easily max your cooking skills doing the quests!
Hallows End. I love the ghosts and ghouls, and the dressing up.
Midsummer Fire Festival. Possibly because I might be one of the only fools that enjoy the torch tossing! Also rather enjoy any given reason to go say hi to my opposing faction randomly, I'm sure they appreciate my good willed greetings. (Read: Greetings = Fatal Stabbing). As an aside I enjoy midsummer in real life as well, I live in Sweden, so midsummer here is always a great deal of fun (Unless it rains like last year)! I always go like....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Midsummer pole dances ftw!http://www.audiodog.se/blogg/fdwhc%282%29.jpg Midsummer dog says Hi!
Right now my favourite WoW holiday is Brewfest. I love drinking beer and it reminds of Octoberfest. Besides it has one of the coolest quests – ramracing! And last but not least – you can see pink elephants when you're drunk!Although I could like Noblegarden more IF it had the Bunnylord for a holiday boss.
I can't tell what fest I like..I just want mount..: )
