Brewfest, specifically Coren Direbrew. He was the first thing I tanked, and loved it.
When I first started to play WoW, it was right around the time of Winter Veil. At the time I was dating my online boyfriend, and WoW was our way of being closer to one another. Him showing me around Azeroth, and experiencing the winter festivities was very special to me.I found it particularly fun to know that you really did get gifts under a big ol' Christmas tree on Christmas day, thus began a tradition between us to ensure we opened our digital gifts each year.A couple years later (and many, many miles later), my boyfriend and I are together at last, and still enjoy the same holiday within this expansive world, Winter Veil.
I like Winter Veil ,since its such spirit, everyone is nice to eachother, it's just...epic..And also, christmas is my favorite holiday in real life too. Casting snowballs on eachother, if they got space in their backpack, those nice winter clothes which are awesome too!Well, I hope thats enough of an explanation, why I'd like a card, since i LOVE wow :)
For me it's probably Noblegarden, because it rewards one of the only titles you can get on a bank alt. The death march from the Caverns of Time to the Hot Springs was completely worth it! And "the Noble" is such a perfect title for a bank alt.Regarding the prize, my level 80 hunter (who was my first alt I ever got to max level) has always had a strider pet. The blue Strider Clutchmother from Darkshore. I named her "clutch." Even when all the hunters were using wolves in TOC and ICC, I insisted on bringing my bird along. (Out of fairness to the group, if they actually needed extra dps, I would bring out a wolf; but given that the hunter was my alt, those circumstances were rare.) I loved all the people gawking at my bird and laughing at the squawks and the attack animation. I may have caused a wipe or two from important people laughing at the bird and missing a taunt. Completely worth it, though. In the event I ever go back and get that hunter to 85, I now have a full stable of striders to level up.
My favorite holiday in game is Pilgrims' Bounty. Simply put, Cooking 1-525 in 1 day =D
Brewfest! Because who doesn't like getting rewarded for getting drunk?
Pirate Day, cos, you know, yarr!
Hallow's End is my favorite... I love trick-or-treating and the squashling was the best pet. Halloween is my favorite IRL so maybe I'm biased.....
My favorite holiday in WoW is definitely Brewfest. Not only it is fun, but I also have some personal history with it.Brewfest was the first holiday I encountered in WoW, and it managed to become one of the reasons that I decided to stay in game.My first Brewfest happened when I was still playing my 10 trial days. WoW was interesting and new to me, but is was still just another MMORPG at this point. And then - then a lot of good and interesting things that often happen in WoW first happened with me on that holiday.I encountered first dailies. It was a new and curious thing to me - I was used to quests being either one-time or unlimited.I participated in a multiplayer event - Down With The Dark Iron was incredible. It was a bit sudden, it was fun, it was something absolutely ever impossible to do alone so it gathered many people together, it was engaging for everyone - and everyone was welcome! Me, a level 15 character less than a week old, was actually helping everyone, and it really mattered! And most of all, there was no point in it except having fun. And fun it was! Every day I was looking forward to having some more drunken frenzy tomorrow...Needless to say, I simply had to buy the full version of WoW and stay for the second week of Brewfest. That's how it all started for me.
My favorite is the Winter Veil, because that was the first world event i experienced and it brings back good memories.
