Brewfest! Cause i LOVE beer!
I love all in-game Holidays! But my favorite holiday is definitely the Hallow's End.It's awesome! The Hallow's End gave me my old favorite pet, the Sinister Squashling! And now gave me my new favorite one: the Feline Familiar, so cute with his witch's hat in his flying broom! And it's when we can do the achievement with the best name even! "Bring Me the Head of... Oh Wait". It's so perfect! :DTrick or Treat!
I actually love Children's Week(cutest pets!), but I really, really love Hallow's End! I absolutely love the new kitty that mounts on their own little broom while you get to fly around on your own INSTANT broom! Who doesn't love an instant mount?(And yes, I'm one of those stereo-typed women who collects every non-combat pet!) I still love killing the Headless Horseman and I love the dailies that they added in this year... Stink bombing Stormwind/Undercity never gets old. Hallow's End seems to bring back your childish innocence even at 25! (And sorry for using the word "love" a gahgillion times, but how can I not?)
Brewfest, without a doubt. It's the biggest holiday of the year that lets your inhibitions go and embrace the carnival atmosphere. Goblins singing that they can't feel their legs is just icing on the delicious cake of ram riding and drunken revelry. The only complaint is that Coren Direbrew just wants a little love. He wouldn't be so hateful if they just allowed him to enter his prizewinning brew in the contest. Dark Iron dwarves need love too!
My favorite holiday is easily Brewfest. When I started playing this game as a young teenager, this was definitely one of the first holidays that caught my attention. I remember eagerly awaiting the holiday every year with my little brother, just waiting to see what the color the mug would be this year! The dailies were fun, and I remember having contests with my little brother to see who could get the most barrels turned in within the time limit of the daily quest. The excitement of the Dark Iron invasion was always there, and it was fun to finally have a "kill quest" that required you to do something other than... well, killing. I wish we could finish more quests by throwing beer at our enemies!I rarely play with game sound on, but I always make sure to turn it on while doing my brewfest dailies! The music is so silly, it really adds to the feel of the holiday. It may have just passed, but I'm already looking forward to seeing what color mug the next brewfest will bring!
Winter Veil. Christmas is awesome IRL and the Winter Veil ingame is the icing on the cake. being a gnome, Saving metzen and getting presents under the tree in orgrimmar has become a tradition for me every year now. and its not a proper christmas without it!
My Favourite? Let's see, I don't like Love is in the Air, it irritates me. Why the hot place should I love anyone? Really?Feast of Winter Veil is all too commercial. Oh Father Winter and all time drunk deer wannabe.I don't drink so Brewfest is a no no. Rams? Riding on them? Right? Really? Seriously? And you should spank them? I prefer another kind of spanking.Pirates' Day, that might be fun, but seriously more of Jack Sparrow? Oh wait it's Captain Jack Sparrow.Harvest Festival, no, I'm not a farmer and definitely not a vegetarian. Give me meat, damn it!Day of the Dead, do I look like I'm Mexican? Jeez I'm an Atheist for pilgrims sake!Pilgrim's Bounty, yeah, right, what else? Turkey and Hungary? Never heard of that.Lunar Festival, oh yes! Since I can't see the moon normally. (Yes, define Irony)Noblegarden, noble garden, the garden of nobles. Bunnies? Chocolate? Am I 4 years old? I only tolerate Bunnies in form of a sexy costume on a sexy redhead Irish girl.Children's Week, hey! That's a nice one, really, but why should I care about someone else's kid? Don't I have my own to take care of?(Hi there ya sexy Orc lady, remember me, I made them)Midsummer Fire Festival, serious threat to the forests, what if some weak minded person sets a fire with them blazing shoulders? Nope, give me water!Fireworks Spectacular, ekhm, am I from the USA? Why don't you celebrate 3rd of May? or 11th of November?Hallow's End, here we go. Yes, I LOVE IT! Being mean, fire fighting, eating candy until I puke, changing people into lepper gnomes, looting the pumpkin, killing ghosts? That's what I dreamed of when I was a kid, and as a bonus, awesome flying horse! Who would pass on that.Yup that's it, the meanest is a winner for me.
I'd say Winter Veil, love sprinting around as a little green/red gnome doing goofy stuff
I want to start with close runner's up and then the winner! Orphan's Week is incredible: love taking care of the little brats and its fun to feel like you did something nice for an ugly little ogre child - they'll never get love anyway, too dang ugly! Also, love Hallow's End: die you stupid fire-chucking headless horseman! Plus the new effigy burning was AWESOME! But my WINNER would HAVE to be Brewfest! Not because I'm a big drinker, I actually DO NOT drink beers or ales IRL, but because if ANYTHING can simulate the effects of being drunk off your keyster Brewfest does - and how! The Horde ambient chatter - and particularly the drunken Draenai on Alliance side - are hilarious! Gotta love that!
I really like Children's week because of all the pets you ca...... Wait!, I mean I like helping the orphans. *cough* yeah that's what I totally meant to say.
My favorite world event in WoW cant be anything but Hallow's End. Cheers for people in costumes and those with pumpkin heads!Really love the atmosphere of Hallows End. Specially here in cataclysm, just fits in somehow! Also Hallow's End has got the coolest world event boss of them all! As well as the coolest mount ;) too bad I haven't got many yet! ( well, still one day to go, hoping for some kind of luck!.) At my server it also seems like there's just more people at hallows end than any other world event! No idea how come, but it's great! Whenever (and wherever) you go for trick or treat, you're sure to bumb into someone doing the same, and of course a lot this year since they added the cutest little kitty companion! - Which is now replacing my phoenix companion which I otherwise would keep out at all times. Can't stand the cuteness of the kitty. I've had a lot of fun during Hallows End, for instance making a great bunch of jokes when I was a wisp on a horse! that was one of my first years with Hallow's End, and I don't think I'll ever forget that xD I even remember that I was riding the Black War Stead, and that it was my first mount other than the race ones. After that I've been collecting mounts, and reached 121 (122 if I should be lucky tomorrow!)Also this year at Hallows End two old friends returned to game! one of them after more than a year, but I think he either ate too many tricky treats or tried to be spooky, cause after a little time he said he loved me, well... couldn't tell him anything but: "Welcome back to you too then! oO aand... would you mind if I leave for a little time? xD". He said sorry for his bad joke later tho ;)Anyway, Happy Hallows End everyone!
like brewfest the most cus it make me happy and i like beer alot irl and also 2 mounts to hunt for
