Hallow's End (Halloween) for sure! You can dress up like a ninja and eat as much candy as you want! Both ingame and IRL!
I rather like the Midsummer Fire Festival. A paladin friend of mine challenged me to a contest of who could became "The Flame Keeper" first. There was nothing like holding my brittle bones together running around Azeroth trying to go invisible as far as I could into Stormwind or Darnassus. All the while hoping my frost infused cloth protection combined a frost shield and coupled light speed teleporting would suffice. When I finally did make it to my destination, I was met with an unwavering defenses of small creatures no higher than my chest, most of whom had beards and weapons larger than themselves. Leaving that much of my shattered self on the floor has only been repeated once by a certain professor who was close to the late Arthas Menethil. Maybe I like the event because it occurs during a time when school is at its annual all time low point or because upon completing I get shoulders that should be able to cook a pig or a staff that the Grim Reaper would be proud to wield, but to this very day I wish I could have as much fun in-game as I did ridding the world of Ahune during the summer of 2010
pirates' day - cause being a pirate ist just arrrrrrrrrrrrsome :D
I have to say I love them all. Every in game holiday in WoW adds a little bit of something extra that anyone can do whether they are level one or level capped. They all allow some diversity and a way to branch off of the normal cliché of questing and gearing out, dungeon run spams and endless BG ques. It's always livening to be able to bask in seasonal festivities both in WoW and in Real Life. So why should I have to pick between Hallow's End and Brewfest, Noblegarden and Winter Veil, Lunar Fest and Love is in the Air, Pirates day and Day of the Dead? You can get so much out of all of them from mounts to cosmetic pets. Even some of the festivities allow you to get a few pieces of RP gear or some gear to make your bank alt look a little more stylish. Then, lets not forget the achievements. For you dedicated dungeon delvers and serious PvPers, some of the World Event achievements require you to do just that. From killing seasonal bosses and slamming jack o' lanturns on everyones head and even getting that G.N.E.R.D. Rage acheivement, capturing the Midsummer Fires and dousing the Wickerman. Every World of Warcraft holiday has something for everyone. So I say why settle for just one? I love them all. And to everyone who agrees, it is indeed one long, strange trip.
For me its the Lunar Festival, The whole event has a feel of mysticism around it and directs players to one of the most beautiful regions in kalimdor, Moonglade. Everyone regardless of their race gets to enjoy the whole Night elf idea by seeing so much in Moonglade, kill Omen which is a nice group activity and fireworks for everyone. Plus an extra reason for me because i met my girlfriend during the event and every year we go around the same things we did back then (5 years ago).
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End for the simple fact that I can stock up on a tremendous amount of wands to use to inappropriately turn people into wisps half a second before boss pulls.
Definitely Hallow's End. Love how the Headless Horseman won't give up purging us (he thinks he's alive and we're dead)
Brewfest, because I love drinking beer :DAnd because I believe it was the first in game event I really enjoyed.
I like Darkmoon Faire because I make HUGE AMOUNTS OF GOLD! hahaFor fun, I like Hallow's End because of the amount of pets you can acquire and drops from H.HThanks
I'd have to say Brewfest for a few reasons:I play a Dwarf and it's the dwarfiest holiday out there.Who doesn't like havin a pint or six?The music is nice and I like the atmosphere out in Dun Morogh.Hurling mugs at people is great.
