Defiinitely Hallow's End! Love the atmosphere and everything and it was the first world event I experienced in WoW. It has always been and will always be my favorite! I even started playing again a few weeks back just to be able to hear the Headless Horseman's numerous speeches:D And to turn in his head;)
BREWFEST!I received my first World Festival achievement title, which was Brewmaster. It is one of the coolest because they give you 1 drink per month, which makes one of the achievements (Brew of the Year), one of the longest to do. I also feel it's gonna be an epic title to have when the new Mist of Pandaria expansion comes out. I enjoy the carnival, or Oktoberfest feel with the daily quests. Getting the Ram or Kodo is a plus, and not to mention, my rogue is wielding a mug as a mace and a broken beer bottle as a dagga OH. Aesthetically awesome to look at during the log in screen. All the festivals are awesome, I personally enjoy Brewfest.:D
For me, it's definitely Midsummer Fire Festival. As a holiday it has something for everyone: PVP for the people who like to defend and attack, PVE for the people who like to take on bosses for the chance at something new and shiny, and lots of little details for the achievement hounds and completionists like myself, who want to get everything done. The armor set is beautiful, and really appealing as RP gear, and there’s even a chance at a pet. To top it all off, there's a way to get bonus experience while leveling for people who are still in the process, or those who like to roll lots of alts. Not to mention with the current expansion, it’s nice to fight something that doesn’t risk leaving burn scars for a change.
My favourite holiday is the Lunar Festival, ever since classic when some nice guildies ran my level 50 or so priest through a bunch of the ones in dungeons and even raids! I've got the elder title on 3 of my 85s, and I still go round all the elders every year! I have more festival dumplings than I can eat, so I hope they add some new items next year.
My favourite holiday in World of Warcraft you asked? Absolutely Hallow's end! The magic that fills the air, the dark skies of Brill and Undercity, the Dark Lady that comes for burn the wickedman and bless us with her dark blessing! visiting inns and doing trick or treat with a dark kitty at your side, throwing bucket of water at a burning town and battling with my allies against the Headless Horseman. Yeah that's my favourite holiday!
Winterveil. I love the gifts, the buff food, the costumes, all of it.
There are a many great holiday tasks throughout the year in World of Warcraft. Alas, while brew and fire are full of hallow fun, the Winter's Veil is my number one. The great thing about this holiday event for me are the numerous toys you can tinker around with, including the new presents each year. There's also snowballs! Oh boy! Pelting people's faces while you're just hanging around especially in a raid just before the pull!
Hallow's End! I love the trick or treating :)
Hallow's End: I like the decoration, it's the best, Undercity is completely different city :) (too bad I'm playing Ally right now :-D) A headless horsemen mount is just awesome. Too bad we can't trick or treat every hour anymore...
I love Hallows End cause I love doing the Headless Horsemen Achievements and Trick or Treating! Then I would have to say Winter Veil cause I love giving my friends and Guild Mates gifts!
Brewfest because I love the drunken dwarf music!
Winter Veil. Christmas is epic! Who doesn't like presents. Usually get a fun new toy each year to play with. Excited to see whats next
brewfest for sure! why not love a holday that tells you to get trashed!
Hallow's End is definitely my favorite holiday and actually it was one of the reasons why I purchased WoW, since I always loved Halloween throughout my life.Putting out the fires caused by the Headless Horseman is the first and foremost activity for me every year. After smashing the pumpkin and getting it's loot, I present the just reward for the other firefighters, by putting Weighted Jack-o'-Lantern on their heads, in order to get them into the spirit of the season. As for the new encounters during this year, it's time to get on my Magic Broom and fly right to the Wickerman to cast my burdens behind me and honor the festivities. Since I am so close, I can't miss out on my duty to clean up the city from the enemy's stink bombs. Might as well go "eye for an eye" and drop some mischief on their city too and just by passing by, maybe I should desecrate the flames of their Wickerman to make things even.As I get back on familiar grounds, I notice people selling Wand transformations for unreasonable high prizes. But why are there people 'committing' trades of such value? Hallow's End is a season of celebration and joy, for if you can't currently find a friendly face nearby, who would transform you using one of those wands, you can be sure, that If I got a wand in my bag, I will be giving those charges out in the blink of an eye.The fun is given throughout the event while you can dig your teeth into various colorful and tasty sugary treats, and if you run out from candies, you can always look out for a friendly inn for a Trick or Treat. Finally, it seems almost as I would have forgotten about something important. But rest assured, for I know who is the one I must seek out. The time is ripe - as a pumpkin, for now is the ideal opportunity for punishment. I shall find you, Headless Horseman,in the Monastery and know this: I will take - your taken head once more!
Hallow's End is a great holiday and I'm loving all the new improvements they did this year, but Children's Week will always have a special place in my heart because I get to play surrogate mommy for a week =] warms my little warlock heart..
