brewfest, why? cause who doesnt like beer and riding around on rams while drinking beer?
Long shot for me to win, with that many comments. But here we go:My favorite holiday is Love is in the Air, as I get to go around in that lovely ride with my wifey in Lordaeron. :)
My favorite Holiday in WoW is the same as my favorite holiday in real life - Hallow's End/ Halloween! I love it in-game, because of the decorations, the masks, the wands, the Headless Horseman, the broom sticks, seeing all of those witches running around the home cities, and most of all, the bunches of jack-o-lanterns all around the worlds. From the Horseman's horse to his helm, I love everything about this holiday! This is my third year in a row attending this holiday's events, and in no way is it getting old, I look forward to it each year and I'll be sad to see it go this year! But I know that next year's Hallow's End will be even better!
Hallow's End is my favorite. It has all the aspects of halloween plus the bombing of the "other" side and the unknown transformations at the treat pumpkin.
Hallow's End has to be my absolute favorite holiday in WoW (and Halloween in real life). The trick or treating is so much fun! Love getting free candy and the chance at getting something a little extra, like a pet or a pumpkin helm. But the best part, when I fly around all of Azeroth and Outland with my best friend trick or treating, goofing off and just having an Amazamazing Time! :)
Hallow's End of course! With the spooky companions and a chance to ruin the Horde's gun, it's the msot wonderful time of a WoW year. Plus tha chance to get one of the coolest looking mounts in the game and some truly spooky gear to carry year round ;) And that's all aside from it coinciding with Halloween and trick or treating and costumes and a good excuse to brsuh up on some good ghost stories. That and I've always loved the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
My favorite WoW holiday is Noblegarden. It was the first holiday I had completely finished for any of my characters. It was the first thing that I had done that was better than my friends that had been playing the game from Day 1. I ran on foot, at a very low level, all over Azeroth in order to finish Hard Boiled and Desert Rose. I mastered the art of egg finding in Razor Hill for Chocoholic, very often swooping in right in front of other players to loot the eggs before they could click, then speeding away toward my next Brightly Colored Egg...The defining moments of the holiday came when, for the first time EVER... My friends came to me for all of the info about the holiday. And I had all the answers. It was an incredible moment for that level 18ish hunter, who, until then, had always gone to them for help with everything. It was because of that feeling that I then made it a point to learn about every in-game holiday. I studied this site in the days leading up to each holiday to learn about the ins and outs of each holiday... What currencies they may use... Where the bosses were and what they dropped... All of the achievements associated with each one... I wanted to know all of it. It was the one thing that I could know that my friends wouldn't.To this day, I'm still the authority on world events within my circle of friends. And it all started with <Davething the Noble>. :)
Brewfest, It reminds me of my first real experience in wow, playing a dwarf and questing through dun morough, the music of the zone, and the kinship atmosphere of the dwarves make me think about my heritage and ireland. I hope someday i can head out to the hills, and experience real irish heritage all around me, either for a vacation or temporary home. Brewfest and Ironforge get me close to that, and my love of metalworking as a hobby makes me feel very close to dwarves.
Hallow's End is by far my favorite simply because of the title you can get, "the Hallowed". I'm not sure what it is about that title, but it's one of my favorites in the game, and I have it on multiple toons. Including a lvl 20 trial account character. :)
