My favourite holiday event on World of Warcraft is Pilgrim's Bounty, because one can really advance his cooking skill for free (which is what I did last year). Moreover, the entire festival has a lot of fun (I am talking about TURKEYS) and can be very relaxing escaping from the daily routine of WoW. (I gotta say that i also love Pilgrim's Bounty, because my main is a hunter and Hunter's Mark helped me a lot doing the achievment for hunting turkeys, while i saw my friends having nergdrages while loosing the achievment.)

My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is Winter Veil, It is christmas time, time which I spend with my family and , of course, cold evenings playing Wow ;), also it is time for my birthday :) Thats why i Love Winter Veil
Some holidays have more to offer than others, and having 'finished' all the content for all holidays a couple years ago it's easy to forget how amazing some of the holidays were when you first encountered them. Although my current favorite holiday is definitely Brewfest, I'm going to have to go with Winter Veil as my choice. I remember the first year that I participated in it (which was on the cusp of the TBC release) and I really enjoyed myself. Going off to rescue Metzen the reindeer and tracking the hills of Alterac while hunting for the elusive (if only because it's so heavily-camped) Greench was a lot of fun. I went away for the Holidays (IRL) so was afk during the time in which the gifts under the tree in Org became available to loot. I think I anticipated my *then-unknown* WoW gifts more than I did my IRL gifts that year. This was long before I started reading sites like this one and mmo-champ so everything was still a surprise to me. Although I wouldn't end up starting to collect WoW pets for a couple years from this point, I did receive the Clockwork Rocket Bot that year as well as a couple of the 'takes a snowball to summon' pets and I got a kick out of those. Turning my mount into a Reindeer via mistletoe was a blast that first year as well. I'd have to say that for sheer content as well as capturing in-game the atmosphere that surrounds the holiday's real-life counterpart, Winter Veil is the easy choice for me.
I would have to say the Lunar Festival.I liked running around to visit all the elders and getting roflstomped by Omen was fun. Learned real quick not to try and solo skulls as a sub-level cap toon.
Brewfest is my favourite event. The only time of the year when everything is focused on drinking and jug smashing. We need more of those! Another holiday that I really like is Pilgrim's Bounty, easiest way to level up my cooking on alts created during the year.
Hallow's EndThe real reason I love Hallow's End is because of how dramatic it was as a holiday when I first started playing. I starting playing about 2 weeks before TBC came out, and once it did I eventually rolled a Blood Elf. I will never forget my first time questing and rolling up onto Falconwing Square. I took the first quest by the well when suddenly i saw the red text flair up (in my head I first thought, "OMG WHAT IS RED TEXT FOR! WHAT DID I TRIGGER!"). I was shocked and amazed as the Shade of the Headless Horseman(men?) rode in on that horse over my head, setting the square ablaze! I was frantic grabbing water pails only to realize I didn't do the intro quest and swiftly did so to wait his return. I wanted that horse so bad and had no clue it was available... Until two years after on the same character I was trying for the horse. This was before the dungeon finder still, and there was an "exploit" where you could pull in additional alts to trigger the horseman after the groups 5 tries (back in those days everyone got 1 chance to summon him, 2 if it was your first time). We pulled in as many of out alts in as possible, and finally it dropped! The Horse of the Headless Horseman! I won it by 2 points, a 97 to a 99. I've played since trying to get another and have never even seen it drop almost 6 years later! I will still always love Hallow's End, not for the candy, not for the loot, but for that first time seeing him ride in. The dynamics of just a holiday event stunned me, and I keep playing waiting for blizzard to stun me again.
children's week. becuse of the opportunity to take care of an orphan and the nice companien's.
I probably like Hallows End the best because of all the costumes available, plus this year we got a really awesome cat on a broom as a pet!
My favorite holiday is Children's Week. Maybe it's the pet you get each year, maybe it's completing the quests for your orphan, I'm not sure... but I look forward to this holiday more than any other.
Hallow's End by far has to be my favorite holiday in World of Warcraft. I love going in any town in the game and seeing Halloween decorations (scary pumpkins, bats, spiders and ghosts!) everywhere and going around everywhere to trick-or-treat. Growing up I always loved Halloween and I love that I can see the spirit of Halloween in this game. Even now I'm singing "This is Halloween"
I roll for Winter Veil.. I like presents ^^.. and.. I like Santa!
Hm, I'm gonna have to go with Children's Week. Biggest reason being that I love the letters the orphan sends you afterwards to thank you. The first time I read the letter from the Draenei orphan I was really moved and on the brink of crying. And, well, the companions are a big plus as well. But, yeah, I love it for the orphans and their letters :)
Hallow's end is my favourite because of the wands, i love turning into skeletons and bats! And the headless horseman fight is pretty good too! I love candy on wow and in real life. The mount is sooooo cool but i havent got it yet, after 3 years on Hallow's end :( but i will have it soon, hopefully.
Hallow's End.I get to kill the Headless Horsemen and Free Candy!
"What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?"Well Halloweens End ofc. Just the feeling if it. The pumpkin everything !
