The best event is Brewfest. To bad it's too far IRL, so I'm enjoying it in game at least :)

My favorite holiday is, by far, Hallow's End, with the Lunar Festival coming in at a close second. Hallow's end really wins me over because I am a Forsaken shadow priest, and really seems I'm in my element when I hear "Prepare yourselves, the BELLS have TOLLED. SHELTER your WEAK, your YOUNG and your OLD! Each of you will pay the final sum! CRY FOR MERCY the RECKONING has COME! HAWHAWHAWHAWHAWHAW!" I started in December of 2008, so it wasn't until October 2009 that I got to experience it for the first time. When I did, I would sit at the Scarlet Monastery on Coilfang and wait for a raid of Alliance to come by to get sooo much honor. The bones riddled the entrance for days upon days, adding to the already macabre scene. Another thing is that I absolutely LOVE: collecting pets and mounts, especially odd ones. I remember walking around Undercity as a moderately leveled character and seeing an orc with a pumpkin, but he was afk, so it was in its 'resting jack-o-lantern' mode. He came back, moved, and I saw the pumpkin grow a frickin' vine body! I was like "I will not REST until I get that pumpkin." Lo and behold, I got it. When I found out there was going to be new pets this year, I did the Crate quests first day, and bought the Feline Familiar just recently. I've yet to get the Horseman's Mount, though...soon... I also tried to start a new tradition of raiding Karazhan at least once every Hallow's End. However, this year, no one seems to be in the spirit...
My favorite in-game holiday is Hallow's End. It was the first holiday I experienced as a relatively new player, and, later, "the Hallowed" was the first title I ever earned on a character. Each year, daily Horseman runs and silliness with Hallow's End disguises bring back the nostalgia of my early days in the game.
Hallow's End, hands down. I started playing WoW two years ago, at the end of September 2009. At the time, I was only playing for free on various private servers. I loved it, because even with all the many, many bugs you have to deal with on private servers, it was still a much better game than my beloved EverQuest ever was. Then my brother-in-law gave me a free trial account to the real thing. Meh. It was okay. Sure, it was much smoother and more polished than the free servers, but was that extra polish worth $15 a month? Then, Hallow's End arrived. Without warning, when I logged in, I discovered I had a jack-o-lantern on my head. Bats were flying around the Crossroads! I flew to Razor Hill, and it was on fire, while the Headless Horseman was flying around shouting rhymed couplets! I went trick-or-treating, and got a pumpkin pet! That was it. I never logged onto a private server ever again. From that moment on, I was sold.Hallow's End is the holiday that made me fall in love with WoW.
My favorite holiday is by far Brewfest. Lots of ales (free ones too), clobbering the Dark Iron Dwarves - sign me up!
Winter Veil, since I've always loved christmas in real life, so it makes me happy to see it in WoW. :D
I would have to say Hallow's End because I have always loved this time of year when the leaves are falling and there is a bit of a chill in the air. And you realize that it is time to break out the winter armor and make sure your weapons are cleaned, oiled and ready for those new raids coming up in 4.3. Plus I love how we get to go around and not only trick or treat in areas we have not visited in a long time but we get to pull pranks with costumes, throwing Jack-o-Lanterns on peoples heads but specially the flying broom. I love that flying broom. And dont forget about the Sinister Sqausling. I call my Mr. Squishy.
Hallows End. I love collecting mounts and the horsemans mount it definately the coolest.
The best WoW holiday has to be Brewfest, what other holiday could have you go from running kegs, to drinking so much you see pink elephants, to fake beer goggles that makes everyone look like a gnome. With several unpredictable twists and turns, to the final outcome of the Great Brewfest Kodo (one of the best mounts ever!). Once a Dwarf always a Dwarf; like they say, I'm a social drinker, whenever someone says I'll have a drink I say so shall I!
Yeah, I'd go with Winter's Veil also. Something about getting a whole buncha probably-goodies at one time from under Santa Orc's tree. :>
Feast of Winter Veil because Greatfather Winter brings me presents!
Brewfest is by far my favorite World of Warcraft holiday. I have played dwarves in every game available to me for the past 25 years. I have one of each class now. Brewfest is the only holiday officially recognized by dwarves, and is really just an expression of our way of life. The quests, loot and holiday boss are consistent with the game lore as well as being fun every time Septober rolls around. It is always a pleasure to see the other inferior races able to spend a few weeks a year envying what a dwarf gets to enjoy everyday of hish/her life........ hic
