Thank god... Trying go do towers was impossible sometimes. People will maxed out pvp ranks and all this bursty junk, I would go down in two seconds flat. Not even enough time to react.
Nooo! Using Kil'jaeden's Burning Wish on unsuspecting folks was the best! ...Suppose that's exactly why they're nerfing it...
Cold Heart nerfed yet Sub Artifact still one shots you...
rip certain 2 people on my server shard, who can't kill anyone if they can't iwin burst you dead while you target anything else but them. now fix the grouping in those FFA areas and you may actually see more people go there... as for fighting most are up on their mounts waiting for opportunities to kill npc's or other players still. Disable flying in those area's to or being able to see the fight floor as in black rook hold etc
So so sad globalling people in Dargbrul arena was hilarious fun.
as arcane mage main.. lol'd. Y'all need leggos to 1 shot ?
I don't see any of my priest legos on here, not that I pvp. :P Yet.
As someone who mains a Retribution Paladin, this is the worst sort of news. Legendaries or no legendaries, I succeed or fail at PvP by my ability to burst my opponents down. This 40% reduced damage means more players are going to survive my burst and either turn the tables on me, or take advantage of my awful mobility to get away. This sounds like the perfect time to go Protection for PvP.
This is the exact reason the need to stop messing with PVE abilities because of wanting to nerf said abilities in PVP. I am NOT taking about today's gear nerf, I am talking about the past where some PVE ability would crush people in PVP,everyone cried and they then messed up the PVE ability to satisfy the PVP outrage. PVE needs it's own gear and abilities,PVP needs it's own gear and abilities. That will keep them from messing up one for the other. I do both, yes it will mean two sets of gear, but I am fine with that. They keep taking the lazy way out in trying to balance PVE/PVP together when that view is totally incorrect.
Thank you Blizzard. Thank you so much. It warms my heart to see you actually caring about real pvpers and not catering to loud elitists who have no real skill. I don't know if this will change much, but every little bit counts.-- Also, to every single one of you saying that things are optional and that people don't 'have' to do a world quest... Yeah. Let's see how fast you flip sides when you actually have to play? Now I can rub your nose in the fact you won't get some upgrade or transmog because someone keeps winning against you. Know the saddest thing? It'll never even occur to you that you've even flipped sides. You thought you were on the moral high ground before because you won, but now you don't have winning to back up your snobby boondoggles anymore.
So funny to see these people say get good, re roll pve, l2p. Considering the unaware are just that, and you unleash on said person pretty much 1 shotting them..... yea get good. Lmao. Drives my screws.
Just Useless... WPvP always be like that That was the Fun... Cata Legy Daggers or the Staff. Its the way to play from Oneshot to Items and Gadgets to make it funnier. If you want Balance que Arena etc..There are always People that complain BUT ... Doesnt matter anymore •PvP Servers will go and a •Toggle off/on for PvP so RIP WPvP There are so many ways to avoid WPvP.I enjoyed being Oneshotted or giveing Oneshots .Every Week are Hotfixes/Nerfs/Buffs for all kind of Stuff... People just want all but dont want to play the game to get the items.😥🤔😥🤔
As a warlock playing PvE primarily, but delving in PvP frequently, since 2006- I've been on both sides of the fence, interchanging quite often- one-shotting people with Conflagrate in T6/Sunwell PvE gear in BC, to getting roflstomped mercilessly in full PvP gear after certain "balancing" hot-fixes were implemented in WotLK, etc...Being good in PvP should not be codependent on having RNG-acquired legendaries AND being a certain, pigeonholed spec/class, leaving the rest of the specs/classes with an innate disadvantage regardless of gearing and/or having a firm grasp on properly utilizing mechanics. Being good at PvP means changing your tactics fluidly to properly compensate for different classes/specs/gearing, properly gearing yourself, knowing the gimmicks of your class, and in general, being clever- NOT popping a trinket and two CDs, spamming an attack, and taking out 5 similarly geared players at once with little difficulty.
They need to do a lot more than 40%. It's completely out of whack now.
