Hw do deaths work in a group? Is the count shared or individual? I don't want someone screwing me over with their deaths.
I'm mostly running it solo and the one single, infuriating issue for me is the very last boss. You could have the best possible run on every floor, picking up the best powers that suit your playstyle, only to stare down at a boss with 350k+ HP (Layer 3) on Floor 6, who has multiple mechanics you should interupt and can't, because the casting time in between becomes less and less thanks to the Unnatural Power buff. Often times it's not even my pet who dies. It's me, because I ran into several bosses that, apart from taking some of my powers away, also damage me with area attacks. I had several runs going like that: Smooth as silk, having fun, picking up good and important power ups and the last boss just wipes the floor with me.

Another "FING GROUP" dynamic. Instead of making group instances harder, they make solo instance harder and push ppl to find groups. Just remove every solo content from game already! I've tried 10-12 guilds so far. Every1 of them gone passive or was drama full. Premades are full of beta players who had 190 ilvl after 2 days of SL release who sleep 3h/5days and they ask the same thing. And beta access is, ofcourse, for most beloved players of blizz. Renown catchup system won't solve anything. Maw quests, torghast, great vault, raids.... Everything's become group based and makes game unplayable for those who wants to progress solo. Not surprised. Blizz tries to fail so hard and they are damn successful at it. I had some hope after some fixes about pvp gear scalings (after massive efforts of a few streamers) but this corrupted mind of blizz can't be fixed. Ps. Draenor-EU is f...ed up since release. 5am game play is smooth as silk but 8pm is nightmare. They still accept new character creations as well. They made free realm transfers but I bet none used it. Blizz thinks MMORPG is massive mess of role playing game.
Supposedly on Layer 3 you can see which boss is at the end next to the vendor? I haven't been able to check but several people on the forums have said it's true.
The only issue I have with Torghast is that luck plays such a big factor in your success. If you're unlucky with your powers, you won't make it, and that has happened a few times already, where dying to the last guy multiple times after a long run is discouraging.
I only have one tip that does not seem to have been mentioned previously. If you find two adds that are fighting each other, they won't agro you unless you attack them.I came across five adds in a narrow hallway. Two high-health adds were fighting each other. I taunted the other three one at a time and killed them, then ran past the two that were fighting.I may have missed out on an anima power though.
Just as in Horrific Vision, I ran my character as Protection, and found that I'm less likely to get killed by the mechanics. That worked for me before and I'm doing it here.
My thoughts on this are:You can't judge people for struggling in Torghast. Every player here has a different class and spec. Each spec has its own anima powers, and each class has different degree of variance between Torghast. As an example, a healer or tank in Torghast is 200% easier than playing the dps equivalent. If you played through Torghast on 30+ specs, I guarantee some specs you will struggle a lot more. Some specs you will steamroll everything and do it blindfolded. While others, you will barely be able to meet the dps requirement. It's sometimes not a matter of skill, but the class/spec you play is more favourable in Torghast. That doesn't mean players are bad if they have a tougher time. It could just mean their class/spec they play have much worse anima powers.
Top tip / trick: if you can, switch to tank spec. It's so much easier.
I had almost no problems on my Mistweaver Monk with something around 155 ilv. I think I've never died on the final bosses.
