I finally came back to WoW this year! <3
The best part, for me, was the announcement that there WILL be further expansion sets and that this world will continue.
Real world best thing of 2013 was getting into uni to study something that I love! It's hard work but soo worth it.In game the best thing is that I got to go up to Garrosh in SoO before horrid uni internet stopped me, enjoyed the new raid :) Maybe I can get Garrosh sorted before New Years...
Coming back to play WoW ))
My favorite part of 2013 was the scenarios, and especially the new in game mounts and pets available. My all time favorite thing is how the support team at Bliz goes out of their was to resolve my in game issues!Happy Holidays!
My favourite part of 2013 was BlizzCon with Heroes of the Storm.
Favourite thing of 2013? Coming back to WoW after getting my upgraded laptop that can handle it. (Sony Flip with the upgraded 'retina' display panel and nvidia graphics card and 16gb ram etc. for those interested)My wish for 2014: make WoW more touchscreen centric.
In 2013 I finally managed to join and have gone on to lead a successful raid team. We're currently #1 Alliance on the server, which given we're only 14/14 normal doesn't say much for the server but I'm happy. I love my guild, the people in it are great and I just hope we'll survive the transition to warlords. Here's to a successful 2014!Merry Christmas everyone :)
The best part of 2013 for me was beginning to play and then becoming a more competent player. Computer games are not something which I grew up with, and with my amazing son's help I am finally gaining confidence and starting to go out on the proverbial limb (which I am often as not shot off of). Three Level 90's, looking forward to many more years of WoW. I did my first Halloween event (FUN is not the word) and really enjoying Winter Veil. I did not get my Headless Horseman mount but that's what next year is for!
my best part of 2013 was blizzcon and see artosis win heartstone :D
My favorite part was finally being able to defeat our crappy warchief and get finally get an awesome one in return. :D
I'm really bad at choosing single events for these kinds of questions. I will say that the year of 2013 in WoW was enjoyable. My time was well spent in MoP and with everything that there was to do this expansion, there was never a dull moment. I love the lore and the range of feelings from conversing with The Four Celestials, Lorewalker Cho, and Emperor Shaohao just take you for a ride.
How about finally being able to beat down Garrosh after all these years?
For me this year, I'd say my greatest accomplishment was moving out into my new house, though I'm even more excited to see what happens in this coming year!
I finally got a way to get a better connection. yay!
Best time I had in 2013? going up to Vail, Colorado and Skiing down those beutifull mountains. That or the guild downing H garry finally.
My favorite part of 2013 was coming back to WoW after a six month computer-problem-induced hiatus, just in time for Pilgrim's Bounty, which is one of my favorite World Events. The end of my WoW withdrawal was certainly reason to give thanks. ;)
On veteran's day this year, I reunited with about a dozen sailors from my old navy vessel that I spent 4 years of my life, through desert shield and desert storm, serving with. It was unprecedented and a great time. We talked for hours and hours. And it was great to find out that some of them play WoW! Now I'm trying to convince a couple more to join as my 'recruit-a-friends' LOL. I hope 2014 has just as good or better surprise in store for me!
Ooooo lots of things:) I managed to save up enough to buy both my partner/carer a laptop each instead of the one clunky old one,now we can both play Wow at the same time:)) I can't always play properly but the graffics are so beautiful when i am sore i sometimes just sit at the waterfalls or look at the amazing landscapes and now i can do pet fights as well as i don't have to be quick with them. i like fishing too:). Cause we can both play at once Corvi can also take me through instances so i now have a level 70 rogue and can fly which is greeeat xD. There is sooo much more but i can't type much more. In RL i have been out in the garden and some trips and it was really nice this summer:))
the announcement of Warlords of Draenor and Heroes of the Storm both sound great.
