"The Alliance is going to have to realign itself. Especially the Night Elves who lose their home. How are they going to react to this? There’s going to be a real self-examination of what the Alliance is about, and how they want to behave."And they'll realize it's all about following the human king and their human footman and their poking sticks. Everyone will learn their place as the human sidekick!Wanna bet?"Do they want to get revenge on the Horde, or do they want to build a better world? That’s a question they need to answer."And this right here means the Alliance won't have any justice and we will go yet again to another "the Horde is good, poor them", resulting in the Alliance just accepting everything, else, be called evil or racist. We already got 2 losses at the beginning of BfA (Night Elf extermination and the failure of the Siege of Undercity), which are just the same sort of crap from Cata/MoP period.
I am a Horde player all the way, but I can definitely understand the anger of Night Elf players. I will say though, It was a little embarrassing that the Horde didn't stomp through Ashenvale and take Teldrassil with ease. It was a struggle all the way through. The Night Elves had to deal with a surprise attack from the might of massive Horde army with the majority of their own army and priests almost all the way to Silithus, and still it took us forever to win. This may not be any kind of reassurance to you, but the Night Elves put up a helluva fight when they really shouldn't have been able to. I think its funny in the comment sections that there's like a reversal between factions. The Horde are tired of being shown as evil and taking the low road and the Alliance is tired of trying to "be better than" and taking the high road.I don't think that people should stop playing, I think there is hope for the Night Elves (hopefully the Forsaken too) and I'm excited to see how this expansion plays out.
Or....still have just the two factions, but YOU can pick what faction you want to belong to regardless of race.
If 8 ships made up the entire fleet of Stormwind, then the Alliance deserved to be stomped.
Imagine a world where you don’t have to worry which side gets your dream allied race, because you can still play with your friends either way!Imagine a world where “the horde is there waiting for you” doesn’t mean your bloodelf can’t rp being a highelf Paladin who tanks for your alliance friends!
I can agree with that, especially when Cata came out. Alliance loses places on the map and the Horde? No, no losses. Just gains.
When do I get to declare my allegiance to the scourge ? I mean... Come on, we all know were the Ebon Blade is going, eh. And Blizz can't give Death Knight quest were you butcher peoples like critters going full evil to just have you shave goat in the next expansion like a old nice and friendly guy eh...@Omedon666 Allowing players to be in whatever faction they fancy for any race would be the worst idea they could have. It would just destroy a huuuge part of what they can do with story-telling in expansions.
There could be an opportunity to 'introduce' two new factions in the next expansion that players get to choose at some point between 120 and 130. The current (or older) Horde and Alliance would still stand as Honourable and Righteous factions respectively, but we could see each of those factions splinter off into something different. The Alliance could have a shadier, more aggressive faction split off for Nelf/Gilnean revenge and the Horde could choose to remain honourable or side with evil Sylvanas. If they did it right and still allowed for grouping with your original faction (eg you can still group with the honourable Horde if you choose the evil side for dungeons/raids) it wouldn't affect population and could allow for a very interesting story.
To me, BfA feels like the last hurrah of the faction conflict, much like Legion was for the Burning Legion. I think they are setting up for a more permanent end to the conflict. The factions will still exist, but no longer be actively at war.
Ok wait wait, what the hell does that mean that if night elves want to get revenge or rebuild their home? After everything the Horde did to them over all these years, is it wrong that they want to destroy this faction? So I guess they are going to make a bs scenario that Tyrande wants to go full maniac to slaughter every single person in Orgrimmar and Anduin is going to teach her that this is bad, don't do it. I am going to lose my ^&*! if after the all butchering Blizzard did to the night elves, all the development they receive in return is going to be something that shows them like vengeful psychopaths.
