And that's after the assault so still doesn't say they knew about them ahead of time.
But that makes no sense considering how the Night Elves feel about Trolls, which is along the lines of 'the only good troll is a dead one'.
Or, again, they were sealed away due to the mountains and once it was open, time to kill the trolls and get them off the 'sacred Night Elf land that can't be tainted by the touch of a troll'; remember Sold, there's a reason why the Shatterspear joined the Horde when they had been neutral and away from the conflicts of the outside world for a long time.
I hate this raid or quit mentality people have. Especially those who continue to play and have this attitude. Those people are overall contradicting themselves. PVP may still be an active way to play but it is a slow process. But since this is an article for the most part in PvE content, that is all i will say of PvP.I have yet to do a raid in current content since i came late to the game (about mid LK). I enjoy questing and dungeons for the most part as they give me stuff to do and leveling a character is not as boring as it was in Wrath. Even Wrath content was boring until i was able to run dungeons. So for the most part I'm happy with the revamp for 1-58 questing, flying in Azeroth, and most of all the 3 central areas of 80-85 questing (Mount Hyjal, Uldum, Twilight Highlands.)In response to fleshing out another character like we did with Thrall, Varian is probably the worst choice. This may prove false, but who is to say. It all depends how they flesh him out. My personal favorite choices for this is either Jaina Proudmoore or (due to the fact that Mists bring pandas) Tyrande Whisperwind and/or Malfurion Stormrage.
Or again, it's the other way around, and the Trolls only joined the Horde because they had no choice, since there was suddenly a way to move an army of Night Elves right into their lands to wipe them out, and the Trolls were just defending their lands from an invader who finally decided it was time to attack.
It's not 'my own idea'; the lore backs that up quite a bit in regards to how the Night Elves treat the other races. And if it was only about attacking back....why does the Night Elf commander send you into Shatterspear Village on the back of an Ancient to completely and utterly destroy the village and to wipe out any trolls you find?
First off, I have been around for some time now, and I have seen this game change a lot since I started. Some of it I like, some of it I don't.The problem is that it has now tipped over, and has more things that I do not like so I am getting of this ride while I still have some good memories. Many are upset about Cataclysm, and after reading through these comments many have good reason to be.Most of these people are upset due to the endgame, but it is not only about the raids. The reason I am upset is that the thing I grew to love and enjoy is no longer there. I remember a time where I met people out in the world, I remember going to a instance meant something, I remember when raiding was just a distant dream for a cacual so the ones that did became heroes. I remember when epic gear was actually epic and hard to get, I remember when questlines led you to a dungeon, I remember getting to know my party members, I remember AV battles that raged for days, I remember the great feeling of finally affording a mount. The list goes on.But know what got to me the most? The thing I REALLY miss? And I mean REALLY REALLY miss?I remember a time when rogues used fist weapons and swords... When my Death Knight used swords... When my shaman used fists....Why blizzard? Why take away the only thing I love more then anything in the fantasy world? Why take away my swords? Why blizzard WHY?The entire expantion I were hoping for more swords for my collection, fists as well, but they said "here, take a mace or axe".I can deal with a lot of things.. but not this... not this....
No different then any other quest where you go into an area and kill the leader.Edit: Also, notice she says revenge....which usually happens when someone wrongs someone else....they more or less tell you they pissed off the Shatterspears there.
Tirion isn't a "Banner for the Alliance" he's leader for the Argent Crusade and stays neutral with the both factions. Therefor he can't just step in as a hero for the Alliance and abandon his mixed army.
