as someone mentioned here....this "cinematic" fits this expansion ...🙃
They ended the war campaign after 2/5 of the promised warfronts. Barrens has music in the game made for that one (it's a redo of a string piece), Azshara would've been now (and the goblin cannon firing, ala Feasel), and then Silvermoon would've been 8.3.5. Instead, the AI was so much harder to debug from Arathi and Darkshore they had to cut all three of the final battles in the war, end it all early, and release bugfixes for warfronts 1 and 2 tuned up to heroic so they weren't in such laughable shape after the expansion. We lost SILVERMOON, according to the game itself. AKA we are not getting a new Eversong Woods as was evidently planned at one time. THANKS!
Blizzard spends 3-and-a-half fully rendered cinematics on recycling their Horde identity crisis storyline for the literal third time.Thrall's Horde was formed, we had 'Is the Horde just a bunch of monsters, or do they deserve to live and fight with honor?'Garrosh-Voljin Horde Civil War was done in Mop, we had 'Is the Horde really a bunch of savages, or do they deserve another chance at life and honor?'BFA was all about Sylly-Saurfang rehashed faction war nonsense, and we had 'Is the Horde evil, or do they deserve another chance at honor?'Meanwhile, the last of the Old Gods, a major lore villain teased since WotLK is dispatched in a single patch without any buildup. And we get this totally forgettable and short and low-budget cinematic to end the whole expansion. What an absolute joke.
Beyond dumb. BFA will go down in history as the worst expansion.
What did you expect? Genuine question

Reminds me of the latest IT movies and finishing off Pennywise. All the dreadlights and bright colors near the top of his head/mouth.
Well, that was anticlimactic.
I guess we're Green Jesus now. The Dragon Soul looks a little different, though.
Makes me wonder if the ending is different for Mythic, what with a rumored extra phase and all. Then again... guess we'll see.
It's so cringe to me that our characters have become the one and only savior even in cinematics now. This kind of story telling doesn't work when literally everyone in the game is the super hero of azeroth.
All in all, I'm happy BfA is behind us and we can look forward to SL, no matter how long it'll take.
This is by far the laziest patch, and ending. It genuinely feels like Blizzard doesn't have any passion left.
I don't buy it. N'Zoth is the great deceiver. The final wing of the N'Zoth raid is called The Waking Dream (implying everything we see happen there could be false), and there is still an unrevealed Mythic-only phase (which is always the canon version of the story). I have enough faith in Blizzard that they wouldn't end N'Zoth with this in-game cut scene we see of us channeling the Heart. They let us datamine that. Everything looks to me like a giant fake-out. This is the vision N'Zoth wants us to see. We lost the Battle for Azeroth. We died and we wake up in the Shadowlands. (Did you notice the only characters we see in the Shadowlands cinematic are undead? Maybe just a coincidence that only undead can resist the void, or maybe everyone not undead is... elsewhere.)We lost. The world ended not with a bang, but a whisper of N'Zoth.
