WoW the game better be worth it from now on because WoW the story is just thrash now; there's nothing worth going for it and it's clear there's no intention of respecting established lore and characters, it's all for the sake of whatever direction Blizzard wants it to go, as they clearly have no qualms in retconning practically everything. If I am to enjoy the game going forward, I have no choice but to ignore the story altogether.
Horde during BfA: we attacHorde after BfA: we protec
Pre BfA: "it is your choice what to do"Post BfA: "Though shunned by racist living, you tirelessly strive to protect them."So basically Blizzard decided to take choice element from players. How surprising.
RIP Forsaken identity ...
Not bad changes..makes it more in line with Thralls Horde.
'As one of the undead Forsaken, you have been reanimated by dark magic. Though shunned by the living, you tirelessly strive to protect them.'Um...since when?
Except the undead line these are good idk what everyone's whining about
Genocide; apparently the new way of protecting people. Who knew?
That text was actually changed again. This is what it is now for Forsaken.https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/g70wll/welp_no_more_friendship_and_rainbows_in_lordaeron/
The Troll one seems really stupid, why would they change the race description to specifically reference the Darkspear tribe again, in the same expansion in which they added non-Darkspear appearance customization options?
They all sound like a joke xDDD.Also, you and your fellow Darkspears? considering the fact that trolls are getting sandfury and jungle troll skin options this is a bit unfortunate.
As a forsaken main, I don't think it's a bad change per se, but I think it could be worded a bit better?Like, my main is a healer and actually tries to do as much good as possible. I can see though that doesn't work for lots of players. "Shunned by the living yet tirelessly striving to protect them" sounds a bit too much like a martyr.... shouldn't it be more about finding a way to live together?Idk, I play undead because I like the undead.
We just came back from an expansion where this faction did a bunch of horrible ^&*!.I get that you want the Horde to self-improve, Blizzard. I get that you are scrambling to return to a semblance of that "honorable underdogs" thematic that is always boasted but never lived up to.But you don't do this right on the heels of BfA's story. This kind of stuff requires these races and the faction to prove that first. This is putting the cart before the horse and basically trying to brush everything under the rug.(Especially considering Blizzard has removed direct mentions to the reasons behind BfA from the questlines for new players when they are made to level through it.)
all of these are bad. they suck up anything that made the races sound unique and made them feel like a red alliance. especially for the orcs and forsakenESPECIALLY the forsaken and i dont even main forsaken and i felt disgustedhonestly they should just leave the old ones as they were
It would have been nice of them to have this epiphany before they burned down most of my characters starting areas. This is pretty pathetic.
This looks like a bad joke or an attempt to mislead dataminers.
