Blizzard bringing necrotic back on a whole new level
Clearly they didn't learn after the ^&*!tiest expansion ever (SL), at this point i just hope the number of players drop so low that they will close wow forever.

Nothing has made me run back to Healing in FF14 again as fast as the Season 2 announcements and the general trend of Blizzard wanting to make healing as unenjoyable as possible. Which sucks because I really had high hopes for the new season after the Morgan Day interview where they said they were going to try to make healing less terrible.
every single one of these affixes are just more annoying stuff XD. afflicted = explosive but u gotta dispel / heal it. incorporeal = explosive but u gotta cc it. and there is the good old explosive. at this point every week is gonna bean skip week. rip m+.and guess who's the most efficient role to deal with them? healers! so there we go again dps players yelling at healers to do our "job" regarding the affixes. its just not fun! please make keystone levels scale harder and get rid of annoying affixes. let us play the the dungeons not the affixes.
less than a month to fix these blizzard...
so This affix are not an April fool's joke?
As someone who only plays M+, I think I'll be cancelling my sub. DF S1 was fun, I guess thanks for that at least, Blizzard.
That explosive rework that was suggested on reddit is great IMO. If explosive stays like this, expect FAR less M+ that week to be happening. I know I won't run that crap, idc enough about high rating to want to deal with it.
Blizzard is completely missing the point in what makes the game good!Explosive, Spitiful and any other affixes that requires players to _TARGET_ anything are totally problematic by design, in any kind of timed content, like Mythic+ Dungeons! This simple thing: "targeting + using a spell" makes the dungeon "longer", in comparison to other affixes, where players just have to "avoid" or manage and keep going besides the affix negative effect.So... the only way to make the things happening in this kind of affix is to INCREASE THE DUNGEON TIME in certain weeks! There are no other way to work with this affixes... we can see the exponential nerfs in Explosive season over season, and it is still a problematic affix that nobody enjoy and with and higher rate of failure.
If Explosive is going to continue to work as it always has, then the ONLY change it needed was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced spawn rate. They should be one-shot by literally everything ( as in, they have strictly 1HP and never more ), and they should not be chain-spawning 6 at a time every 2 seconds. There was literally no reason to increase the health on them even a tiny bit.If they want to go the route of increasing the health on them so they require more focused damage to kill, then they need to spawn ONE orb no more frequently than Thundering triggers now (roughly every 90s in combat) and there probably needs to be some pay-off to each one killed to offset all the time wasted killing it that could have gone into killing, you know, the actual dungeon mobs. But you know what would be easier than any of this? JUST GET RID OF IT. Keep Volcanic, or even Grievous. They are both 1000% better affixes than Explosive. I would heal an entire season of Grievous every week to never play Explosive again.Incorporeal needs to either A) work like sparks on Raszageth (Normal) where ONE CC or interrupt removes it completely, or B) spawn strictly ONE at a time, with time in between, and be completely immune to damage so any CC that breaks on damage doesn't break from incidental AOE damage.Afflicted actually seems mostly on the right track. It seems like some AOE heals do work on them, so sometimes they get cleared out pretty passively. They don't take a lot of effort to get rid of. And for some reason they already have a more realistic spawn rate than both Explosive and Incorporeal. Probably still need to spawn less often than they do, but it's at least closer.Entangling is way too subtle and needs a pretty obnoxious sound so people can't miss when it comes up. It probably also needs to be possible to see it coming and get far enough away before it appears to avoid the slow being applied at all. There are going to be a lot of bosses where the slow or the stun is going to get people killed purely because of how they don't play nicely with boss mechanics that either require moving or require staying in an area. At least for the most part it seems to be the least obstructive of these four affixes, but it's going to be really deadly at the dumbest times like Quaking was.
Just because players adapt to pain and play through pain does not mean they love more pain. That is all.
