I rather like the idea of adding to colored streaks to customize the characters. Like many here I do hope that they will extend this to all the races of wow. It would definitely help with giving characters more individuality so that not everyone looks the same. The streaks are a little raw, and bit overly bright, but they're are most likely still refining them. The earrings are kinda meh, but this is probably just what they are starting with to see how they look on these type of ears, and will probably change what doesn't work and add some more later on in development.
Okay, I've always thought that hair streaks are nice way to make your hair look less boring - in real life. But I honestly think neon colours are a BIT too much for a fantasy MMO such as WoW. Optional or not, but there are things that just don't either fit or belong into fantasy games. More nautural (or less brightful) colours might look better. Not that I have anything against the culture things, this is just my opinion about this topic.
Why do WoW players always get so defensive over such silly things? If it's not a doom sayer prophesying the end of Blizzard, it's some kid kicking up playground dirt and calling you a stupid head. Well done, ZVictor. you successfully prodded the hornets nest.
it should be rather an option from barbershop to everyone not only for pandas
I think it looks fun then again I've dyed my hair blue before /giggle.
It's a GAME just chill and Enjoy it ^^If u don't like it, it is a simple as (Don't play it).Back on topic, looks alright.
It would be neat if this was expanded to other races. Night elves and goblins already have brightly-colored hair as it is--I think it would look pretty natural actually for those races. And adding some matching-colored hair to a transmog outfit would be fun procrastination.
blizz tries too hard to make every race look attractive... i think whoever is in charge of development is into bestiality...
I'm laughing at how some people are flipping tables over a few streaks of hair. It's sad really. You think the x-pac will be good, but as soon as you see a neon hair streak on the pandas that you said "were too childish" you go on a rampage Saying blizzard is trash, and insulting blizzard along with other players for the OPTIONAL hairstyle. Did you forget that this was an *update* on hairstyles? That means you can always choose one of the cooler hairstyles (the long ponytail being my fav) if you dont like these. This is just like how before when people thought the x-pac would suck because of pandas. Discarding all of the potential this has to be a promising x-pac because "panda bears aren't as serious as small midgets, purple elves, and talking cows!" or "ewww! there is neon in my pandas hair! trash! trash! trash! BLIZZ U SUCK!". This x-pac has brought back world bosses & (is working on) world pvp. Something everyone has longed for since BC, Hardcore challenge modes to players who want a little more with dg runs, Pet battles; giving a sense of competition to casuals and gives you something to do with useless pets. They made new pvp styles in bgs ( I.E. payload) so it's not just "capture flag/control point." There lots more as well! They've listened to you guys and brought vanilla back, But all because of the option to put an extension in the panda's (which you refused to play) hair; the game suddenly sucks. I'm sure there is an option to have it without the extension, or atleast have it blend in with the hair (like in some pictures shown). "what kind of garbage is this?" "Blizzard is trash!" Don't feed me that bs. Most of you will still play in the first place. Threatening to leave wont do crap. If you do leave, then good. Less whiny haters for us. Hopefully the nice community from vanilla-BC will come back. It's fine to have opinions. But dont ruin other's fun with hatemail. At this rate, you should all rage about male gnomes having PINK mohawks, or nelfs being able to have all blue, purple, AND green hair? To all the people who aren't hating; sorry for the rant. Needed to get it off my chest. Ignore the raging people.Haters gonna hate -- they like to hear themsleves talk.
Blizz appears to continue to put a lot more work into the Female Pandaren than the Males.
I don't like it, but then again I never had any intentions of making a Panderian character in the first place.

If you don't like how it looks, pick another. If you don't care, hit random and roll with it. If you like none, pick another game. Simples.Cultural References? The game is *loaded* with them, from Quests, to Items, to Achievements. There are so many of them, that just getting to notice all of them would be a hell of an meta-achievement in itself. So yes, this time we go Asia, but veiled or low-profile enough not to offend anyone. Great. And the troll thing comes from another place entirely. Watching Pirates of Caribbean made me understand trolls, who could guess that?Just have fun.
Heh. Funny thing is that I did have a cranberry-red temporary streak in my hair once, and that's just how my template-beta's hair came out. I am fated, I tell you, to cosplay Pandaren some year. Unfortunately, my cranberry streak and I will have to do it without the pot, decadence, death metal, cultural jingoism or lackadaisical lack of work. Not sure what game that is, but that's not my WoW.I bet they're saving the different faces for the last major change in the system. There's a lot more to do, and all will come in time.
So far in beta the streak is NOT optional. A random color is put on each time you roll character creation. And my panda still can not use the barbershop. I won't be rolling a panda at launch anyway so based off a good chunk of posts my opinion doesn't mean jack. I hope Blizz does make the streaks optional if they end up keeping them. Its quite a hassle to keep backing out of character creation until you get the colors you want. And not everyone is gonna want all their pandas looking that way.I think blizz is trying too hard to make Panda females 'cute'. One happy face, color streaks, and little earrings. All they need now is a cute animal backpack and they're good to go.
i love this idea! time to customize my hairstyle instead of just having one dull color! :D
