Popular opinion, but Hallow's End is my favorite holiday in WoW (and outside of it - my baby sis is a Halloween baby!). It took years to drop & I still ride Nemesis Blade to this day. *_*LOL edit: I'm bad at WH markup. I still ride the damn mount to this day!
the Feast of Winter Veil is my personal fav.I have always loved the season, irl & ingame.that time of year always makes me smile :)
Mine would have to be hallows end, the decorations and horsemen are great
My favorite holiday is Winter Veil. It was one of the first holiday I remember in the game (started playing in May of 2005). Hanging out around the tree, just waiting to click on the packages to see what you would get was both frustrating (because you had to hope you clicked on it before the guy next to you) and wonderful (seeing what great stuff you got). I still have my red rider bb gun, snowballs, mistletoe and various other items I couldn't bring my self to get rid of from my banks. It was one of the first times I felt a real "thank you for playing" from Blizzard.
It's a hard pick - I would say I've played during Feast of Winterveil the most, but Brewfest is one I've had the most fun with.. this last year though I felt like there was a lot of great stuff to play with during Winter Veil, so I think that one wins out. Personally I'd love to see a holiday added that has to do with more recent lore - every holiday has a start sometime, eh?
Hallow's End is my absolute favorite. I love the costume sets you can get, the costume wands, masks, trick or treating across azeroth... and the ever elusive Headless Horseman's mount. Hands down the greatest holiday in WoW!
Would have to say Brewfest and then Hallow's end. I like beer (it makes me a jolly good fellow) and halloween has always been cool
Trial of Style! How can you go wrong with transmog PVP as a holiday!
Favorite WoW Holiday would have to be Hallows End :3 Going Inn to Inn for free Tricks and Treats is always a blast! You never know what you'll get!
Hallows End is my favorite. It's got a lot to do and is very well implemented.
Brewfest...love watching folks ride the rams around Org and IF, running into trees, slowing down and such.
Do want pin! My favorite holiday is the Hallow's End event. The Headless Horseman's rhymes are just amazing and being in Undercity for the event has always been magical. I love this undead area the most and will visit Undercity around this time of year just to hear the Warcraft 3 dialog between Arthas and Terenas.
my favorite is lunar festival & hollows end i think these events have most items customs , pets , toys & etc
My favourite holiday is Hallows' End, being an Australian that plays WoW it lets me experience some Hallowe'en magic that we don't generally get to experience here. If we could add any holiday to the game I think some kind of festival to honor great warriors of the past would be awesome. Thanks!
Hallows End.
My favorite holiday is the midsummer fire festival because it was the first event I played when I started playing wow. I was really nice to see all the different towns decorated for the holiday while I was leveling for the first time. I think a good holiday would be to have a worlds fair where all different races could bring different goods, mounts, and toys tailored to their themes so we would get to experience some of the ones we only get to see for a short time.
Midsummer is my favorite holiday because it feels the most like WoW's very own original holiday. It was the first one I really invested myself into long ago if memory serves me right. Traveling the lands and honoring the bonfires feels like a grand pilgrimage the first time around, and it was also my first foray into infiltrating enemy capitals.I wouldn't learn until much later that Midsummer is a real holiday that people celebrate in places that aren't America. But the Warcraft version definitely has its own unique aesthetic to it that makes it stand out among the other holidays of the year. Midsummer is what other Warcraft holidays should strive to be like: rooted in real life traditions, but taking a unique flavor all their own.
I like the Thousand Boat Bash, personally. There's just something so relaxing about taking a break from all the fel-fire and ancient curses to just aimlessly sail around. Then go in and start a bar fight. Good times. It also holds a bit of meaning to me, as I clearly recall adventuring in Thousand Needles to be one of the first times I really got into old content, if that makes sense. Up until then, things had been rather humdrum and samey, but those quests were funny, unique, and interesting. A welcome change of pace.Would be nice to get a toy to let me start punch-ups in bars. Engage in fisticuffs with players and NPC's in small town pubs would be amazing.
