Paladin Tier 6 was my favorite set. That set made you actually look like you were a bad mofoin' warrior of the light. It was very visually impressive and really fit with the look and feel of the class.
I would have to say the Hunter T2 armor is my favorite, mostly because of what it reminds me of. I learned about Tier armor after seeing a hunter standing by the Undercity zeppelin in full T2 armor. Even without actually knowing how much you had to do to earn it, I knew I wanted it too.It might not be the prettiest one in the lot, hell, it might not even be pretty at all, but it always reminds me why I like WoW as much as I do.
I would have to say the Tier 2 Paladin set, Judgement, was my favorite. It was the first and so far only time that Paladins were given a look that hinted at some sort of secretive Paladin council that carried out the dirty work of justice, like a group you'd never want to see near by because of the implications. It was a very cool and very interesting twist on Paladin armor design and how they would normally be perceived.
Paladin T2, the design is simply awesome, and it can be used for RP gear for a wide number of races whereas I feel some sets seem limited to Humans or Dwarves.

Favourite set of mine was probably the Voidheart Raiment. So amazing. I remember when I got the head. Perfect moment. My little borther was like :OOO "you're like a voidwalker!". Yeah. Great set.
I loved the shaman tier 5 the most out of every set of gear my character has ever worn. Not only did it make you look like a behemoth of earth and flame, those matching fist weps. looked bad-ass when paired with the rest of the gear. (even if the one of them was too fast for us enhance.)
Rogue's T2 Bloodfang set. Great use of color, good stance, who doesn't like red and black?
I really loved the tier 6 for priests, Vestment of Absolution, was and curently is the best looking tier set for priest's (in my point of view), but also i loved the design of all the tier 6 armor set's, they were the best. ;) The tier sets from WotLK and Cataclysm (the ones that are right now on live servers) don't really seem the apropriate design for the classes. Keep up the good work blizz. :D
Pala T2 set is the best ^^
Paladin Tier 2 is, in my opinion, the best tier made. From it's name, to the general design and colouring no other tier got close to it from an "omg awesome" point of view.
My favourite would be the warrior's T6. Just look at it. Intimidating in it's own way and it has style. But maybe it's just me liking the spikes and high shoulders. : | Who knows.
My favorite set is the druid tier 2, because the very first raid I ever did was Onyxia at 80. I got the Druid helm T2-alike and instantly dug it. I also happened to get a yellow hoodie IRL around the same time, kind of a cool match.
my favorite set would be death knight's tier 10. the reason being that it looks like what you'd find on any death knight working for the litch king but the difference is that you're killing him instead. it feels like the build up from the quest chain in WPL has continued over for me.
