I think my favorite has to be Gladiator's Desecration. My favorite super hero/comic character is The Punisher. Which if this set doesnt scream his look, well then I dont know what else does. It gives a whole armored punisher vibe, and I love it :)
Priest Tier 6 was probably my favourite set. It is my favourite set visually by far and the fact every item had a socket allowed for huge customisation of gear, not to mention the full 8 pieces! Only downside was no 6 or 8 piece set bonus but that's ok because it looked epic :)Good luck with the competition everyone!
Paladin Tier 2 simply because it is one of the more simple and yet clearly defined skins. It captures the theme (holy warrior) of the paladin while still having the look that screams"You're about to take this Kalimdor's Revenge to the face. Twice"Its only a shame that paladins, back in the day, didn't live up to the expectations of that armor.
My favorite tier set would have to be the Dreadnaught (Dreadnaught's Battlegear) set. It's intimidating, it looks good, it is good. It's the kind of set that'd make you say "Holy crap" if you ever saw a guy in a 60 BG running at you wearing it. Also, if you go to Outlands wearing this whole set with The Hungering Cold AND Skull of Ruin, no-one would mess with you. :D Death Knights leave you well enough alone of out fear of being pwned. >:D
I still love the look of Priest T2, and the glowing halo cracks me up every time.
Tier 10 warrior shoulders and helm are my favorite. That gear made the profile of my orc look awesome.
Paladin T2 :)
I love the days back in tier 5-6. What i was really looking forward to in this next patch was something new and something that makes me feel like that toon when i put the items on. Example if am a tank i would like my items to be big thick and stand out. I want to look like i can tank massive dmg. Same for all the other class's i was hopeing for a tier 12 that would make the toons like more like what they are. Like warlocks make them evil looking, clothies shouldnt look like they have plate armor on they need to look like they got like silk or something. Or maybe a new fresh idea of a wep/shield/off hand included into the mix for set to help brg out what the set was really going for but make it optional. Those are my reasons behind the tier 5-6 because atleast they really looked like and made you really feel like that class with those items on.-Examples-Mage (frost) Make the set like freazeing and have frost radeing off of it and pragress threw the heroics amping up the frost look-Shamy the shamys are like voodoo so ornate that into the 3 diff specs.-Tanks should look like they can take massive dmg with nice big armor and just look like they can take abuse.-Druids i loved the attempt in t11 to bring out the bird look but overall i felt like it could of ben done a little better sprucing up the back ground of druids and the spec and put that into the tier look.-Warlocks They are an evil class so i felt like they should look as such to fill the roll and maybe take into the diff specs of the lock to design the tier.-Hunters vicious set looks amazing and should work off that type of look-Ideas-Shields as part of a tanking set bonus (make them look like they can block and take abuse)-Druid bears should be armored instead of nakedthx for reading,Sed (aka Miyu)
My favourite at the moment would have to be the Druid Tier 6 Thunderheart Set - Thunderheart RegaliaI have *almost* the full set (missing bracers) and it's now one of my favourite about town sets. I just love Tier sets which are based on the class and make them feel more a part of the game.I also have the Druid Tier 5 Nordrassil Set - Nordrassil Regalia and a working on the Stormrage, Malorne and Cenarion sets.
Lightbringer (Paladin Tier 6): It was instant; from the first look I knew that was the armor my paladin was looking for his whole life. The set bonuses back then were second to none and the looks... From the little specs of holy fire coming out of the shoulders to the light-forged crown levitating over the head, well, there was nothing like it.
