Tier 5 rogue set. Because Bloodfang is overrated.

Mine has to be Tier 11 for druids, and from images that I've seen about 4.2, I can pretty much say I'll like the look of Tier 12 too (If it is what I imagine / rumored)
my favorite set is the tier 5 Nordrassil restoration set. mostly because it was the first complete set i had(having thrown out previous tier pieces before realizing how neat it is to have an entire set) but also because my character is an female druid, and that set is really feminine, expecially with the glowy purple and the flowers popping out, most other tier sets have an way of looking too maskuline for an nightelf female. (and as an female i kinda like to look pretty ingame ;) )
I'd say my favorite set of gear out there has to Warrior Tier 4, Warbringer Armor. Not only did it looked amazing, in a very non classic plate armor seen in vanilla so far, it also had pretty amazing set bonuses. I remember quite fondly as i started to make my way up the first TBC raids, hopefully followed by a joyfull ride to the Aldor rise to reclaim the armor piece.
Tier 12 is the best set EVER! I love themes, and I particularly love the fiery-ness of this set! :D I might mix it a bit with the tier 11 and give each class a distinct fire boss feel to it! but personally I feel that the best thing to come out with at this point is an option for cosmetic equipment! <3
I always liked the look of the pladadin T2 Judgement Armor. It has been one of the best paladin armor sets looks wise in the game.
Definately the Priest T6. I just love the symbolism in this set, as well as the looks. The blindfolded lady on the shoulderpads reminds me of the goddess Fortuna, who gets depicted like that when she represents capriciousness. I think that suits the Priest class very well as it covers both ends of the spectrum - from healing with the power of the Light to dealing damage in Shadowform.
The entire T2 set was good. For every class, and though I know it is cliche the Bloodfang set is amazing. I'm probably a little biased because I play as rogue as my main. Overall, every T2 set is well made. Warrior helm, either love it or hate it, but you definitely see it coming. Warlock 'horns'. Pally t2 is amazing and I dont even really like pallys. But not only was the T2 set overall the best, but so were the instances needed to acquire them. Nostalgia, maybe,. but I love those sets.
Warlock tier 10 Dark Coven's Regalia is my absolute favorite. It just looks so... evil and twisted. The color sceme with it's brown and purples really brings out the tyrranical yet ragged look of the crazed demonologist. And dont get me started on the "evil gnome" helmet. The first headgear that actually made me "show helm" on any of my characters.
My favorite set is Tier 6 Shaman; Skyshatter This is likely because I play a shaman and it's my favorite shaman set; not that other sets weren't cool, but shaman ftw. I love the size of the shoulders and the animation on them.
I personally love the Shaman T6 look. Actually i love the look so much i bought one of those action figures with the Shaman T6 set. Everything about it to me says Shaman and while other tier sets have come close none can beat the orginal.
1t old wow>new wow
Warlock T6 hands down best proc ever seen on any amour set
Tier 5 shammy hands down.
As a mage, I still favor the Tier 2 looks (Netherwind Regalia), although I did manage to pick up only a few pieces of it.
I know my answer will a common one, but I always enjoyed the Tier2 Paladin armor. Ironically, that was also back in the day when my computer could run raids, and Molten Core required teamwork. While some people don't like 40 man raids, I enjoyed the mass coordination required. I felt I actually had to work to get my Tier 2 set. The color scheme was wonderful, and was one of the few sets that actually matched the Purified Ashbringer. Sadly, I haven't been able to raid now a days due to my computer, but hey that's why I'm posting. = D
The Tirisifal Regalia would have to be my favourite. It's not over the top and elaborate, but it is still gorgeous. And looked amazing on my Draenei Mage and was the first set of tier gear I ever received.
