My absolute favorite tier set has to be the original vanilla Warrior T3 Set from the old Naxxarmas. Seeing a warrior running at you in a BG was a nightmare if they were in that set. I didn't get to raid much during vanilla since I started playing right around when Naxx was released, but I dreaded finding a warrior in pvp running around back then in full dreadnaught gear. Runner up would be the Rogue T2 set, such an iconic set for the class, no other armor set comes close to matching what that set does.

With my main being a rogue, I'm biased toward that set, and tier 2 has to be the best looking, imo. It really does seem to fit the feel of the class.
Personnally, I love the . I discovered WoW in late WotlK and it was the first set I've known. I liked the stats. I liked the style which looks like a geist, very in the "rogue spirit", IMO.
Mage tier 4. This is the one set that I always thought was damn cool and I was always too unlucky to get in tbc when I started raiding. So it became this distant dream and nostalgic tbc symbol to me
Good ol' Judgment set for my liking. Why? Because it's the only paladin tier set that didn't look like something that broke off the Exodar (though the previews of the tier 12 look pretty awesome too.)
My favorite is the Warlock T10, the green colored version. Especially on female models. The blinking green eyes, the color contrast, and the pointy head, its just awesome!
My favorite tier was hunter T10. I first got into heavy progression raiding in ICC and made some great friends along the way, and I really worked to get every piece.
I am torn between T6 priest, for looks, and T1 priest (prenerf) for best tier bonus sets. That being said, T6 remains in my priest's bank, and will forever eat up space just for the look alone, for the true Discipline within appeal.
Its got to be shaman tier 5. Cataclysm HarnessI rolled a shaman just to wear this stuff. I wanted it more then I wanted my next breath.
I loved the vestments of faith. It was so divine like even on my undead priest. Also i miss the days of grinding gear compared to now when you know what day your going to get your gear :(
My opinion is subjectively clouded by two things: nostalgia and experience. I speak of nostalgia - the cliched rose-tinted glasses analogy - loosely. I don't look back at vanilla and TBC and pine for the good ol' days. In fact, my experience from back then is tied into my second point: experience. We all have different experiences in the game, and when it comes to the balance between real life and playing an MMO, life shifts and changes with the times. There have been downtimes in my life, where raiding was non-existent; and there have been solid play times, where keeping a strict raiding schedule hasn't been a juggling act. TBC saw me experience T4 fully and T5 partially. Wrath saw me experience T7 quite fully, and everything past that is just a blur and speculation. These days, I can only laugh at the suggestion of finding time to raid. But it isn't experiencing raiding first-hand that necessarily allows you to form an opinion on raid gear. It is the one shiny thing that everyone may covet, even if they never have the chance to see it actually in their bags and on their character.I didn't get any actual T5 gear - and yet it is definitely my favourite. The MageTier 5 Tirisfal Regalia simply stands out for me. It has "powerful and mysterious mage" written all over it.I could have chosen anything from T0.5 to T11 (or even T12!), but then I remember just how good the T5 mage set looks. T3 was cool and colourful and really showed you who the serious raiders were; T8 would have been a major blessing for me under the circumstances at the time; and the upcoming T12 is very flash. But Tier 5 blends nostalgia and experience, memories and regrets, and stands out in my mind as my top pick for tier raiding gear.
My favorite is probably Priest T6. I really like the colors and *adore* the shoulders for their uniqueness. The helm is also all kinds of awesome. I didn't even have a level 70 priest at the time they came out, but I sure wished I did.
Judgement Tier 2 Paladin was by far my favorite. Imo it embodied warrior of light. The shoulders stood out the most. When I played BC and found the purple/silver version recolor I had it withing a week.
