I was going to say Mount Hyjal because the lore is just so amazing there, but then I remembered Uldum and how much I freaked out when Brann Bronzebeard jumped out at the end because I love any lore about him! Then again, the newly done Silverpine lore... ee, the adrenaline when you are in a armoir secretly watching the worgen converse about their plans and hoping not to be spotted, only to then have your companion be ripped out form her own hiding spot and killed! It was bone tingling. :)
my favorite zone was silithus.... although i never quested much there.. only with 1 toon. i loved the theme.. reminded me of the scorpion king, and the mummie movies.. i wish i had hunter tier 3 on my hunter while in that zone.. it would fit right in. the 4 red glowing eyes... tan colored scarab themed armor.
Vashj'ir is one of my favourites. Despite being a bit annoying to navigate some times, it's so colourful and it's definitely something unique in WoW.
Being a true loremaster of wow and playing from back in the day to now I still belive the best zone to be mount hyjal, from its raid only access days to now its has always been one of the most stunning and entertaining zones. With a mix of twilight, ogres, harpies, elementals, old gods and names of interest going back to the begining of warcraft who can say no to hyjal :)
Howling Fjord - impressive landscapes and lovely music.
Howling Fijord, it is lovely and reminds me of Alaska.
Grizzly Hills, Because it looks exactly like where I live.
Ironforge for sure. But that's more a city than a "zone".Probably Hillsbrad foothills before the shattering.I must have done the murloc quests at least ten times. It felt like a real town, and the story was quite deep; not just go kill eigthy ogres. There was towers, farms and other random things everywhere; and the grass was green !Good times ..
My favorite zone would have to be Silithus. I know it isn't favored by many, but I absolutely love it. Perhaps it is because the design of the zone or the lore associated with it. But one thing's for sure, whenever I happen to be close to Silithus, I always find myself taking a visit there, even if there is no reason for me to do so. The Silithid also happen to be one of my favorite races! I really hope Blizzard does something with this zone in the future. I'd hate to see it left in the...Silithyst Dust!
I would have to say Silverpine Forest. It just seemed so creepy. And in pre-cata lvling my pally there, and being ambushed by a Son of Arugal scared the heck outta me. Many weeks later at lvl 60 I went back and got bloody satisfaction on him.
Nagrand has always been my favorite zone. The scenery is beautiful, and the questing is diverse and fun. The quest rewards were incredible, and it is just an all around amazing zone.
