My favorite zone has to be Western Plaguelands now. The quests they added after Cata are a hoot, especially the caravan stuff. Every time I take a lowbie through there, those quests never fail to make me giggle.
My favorite zone is definitely Nagrand in Outlands. For once, it's one of the most beautiful zones in the game. I also really like the Hemet Nesingwary quests you get where you have to kill tons of mobs at the same time.Either that, or the old Barrens because it's such a giant zone!
Hands down.. the Cataclysm version of Silverpine Forest. I've loved playing Forsaken since my first toon (Forsaken Warlock, of course.) I was blown away by the scene with Garrosh and Sylvanas. The dialogue between the two gave me goosebumps. I can't wait to see what direction the Forsaken will take in Cataclysm! My favorite part of the zone was definitely when you take a valkyr over to Fenris Isle. Pre-Cataclysm, I found that area to be a pain. I always skipped it. The valkyr made it much easier to solo at a lower level. The best part is of course the scene inside the keep. The chase part was AWESOME. I felt like a part of the story rather than just grinding through to level.
Vashj'ir, based purely off aesthetics. It really has the most detail in any zone I've seen. If you haven't seen it all you really should take the time. There's one area that's an entire forest of bioluminescence, so colorful and detailed. The whale sharks, the zone-sized demi-god turtles, the bone yard with the swirling vortex where mobus spawns, there's just so much going on in each part of the zone.Picking just one is REALLLY hard though.

My favorite zone would definitely have to be either Nagrand for the athmosprehe or Wintergrasp (not during the battle for it) cause of the music in it. The music in Wintergrasp always manages to mesmerize me.
Westfall, c'mon why not? It includes one of my favourite npcs, Lieutenant Horatio Laine. What is not to love about this zone, it includes boars without livers, murlocs without eyes and a lot of cheesy puns by our own Horatio Laine.I mean, c'mon, you know you love it.I know it.
Hello There , I like Ashenvale-AzsharaWhy? Because lot of Lore happened over there , it was first place where Elfs,Dwarfs,Taurens and furbolgs came all together and fought Burning Legion for long time+ my favorite hero from Lore is Lord Ravencrest and he died there . Plus I love Elves and Queen Azshara was Highborne and most beatifull. And its wonderfull place for peace when you want to relax just sit on top of some mountain and watch it <3 its beatifull... Ashenvale-Azshara is my pick ( i know thats two zones but i dont know how to say place between them where most creatures and heroes died.)
I've always liked Feralas. Not so much after the shattering since the island of giant chimeras has been wiped off Azeroth along with the scepter quest chains. I was did spend an incredible amount of time in Dire Maul for my Shen'dralar and Goblin reps so I kinda miss the place now that I'm exalted with them all.
Can I get a shout out for Tirisfal Glades?Just look at the history. This is the first landing place of the High Elves following their exile from Kalimdor, though they soon left after sensing something "evil" lurking there. Can you say future old god?. Later, this was the home of the human kingdom of Lordaeron and the seat of the Guardians of Tirisfal protectors. Following the Third War it transitioned again, turning into the capital of the Forsaken. Throw in some disputes with the Scarlet Crusade, and you have an incredibly lore-rich zone. Also, the Forsaken are my favorite race, even if they lack my favorite, shape-shifting class. Their dark defiance in the face of death fits right into the gloomy atmosphere of the zone. Post-Cataclysm I loved the new story arc with Lilian Voss; she really defines the Forsaken attitude.
Post-Shattering Blasted Lands. Specifically, the Tainted Forest subzone.I love it. It has the mystery of a swampy forest, with a secret. And of course that secret is demons :P
I've always loved Feralas. I like that kind of jungle-like maps, alongside with Sholazar Basin (which is a mix between Feralas and Un'Goro Crater, at least for me). Also, I miss the old Feralas because of the (now lost) Isle of Dread, lots of hours spent there doing nothing but talk to guildies or friends. And questing there was pretty nice too, yetis, ogres, more ogres, more yetis, some hyppogryphs, and there was a OOX quest too! Need I say more? Plus there were always some alliance players to fight with, it was really fun. Damn, I really miss old times :'(
Desolace, at least pre-shattering. It might have been pretty, well.. desolate, but in my opinion some of the best quests in game are there.
My favourite zone(s) are Ghostlands and Darnassus. Why? Because both Shalandis Isle (http://www.wowwiki.com/Shalandis_Isle) and the Temple of the Moon (http://www.wowwiki.com/Temple_of_the_Moon) have --stunning-- music!
I love the new goblin starting zone! It was great to have a lowbie questing area that was completely new to me. Of course, the worgen zone was ok too, but I like the lore and play of the goblin zone better.
