Hillsbrad Foothills; such epic quests as the "plants vs. zombies" thing, tactical nukes on alliance military encampments (i love a good explosion you see), and ofcourse the quest which rewards you with a Shovel of Mercy.

Thousand Needles, Post-Cataclysm. Just amazing to see on first fly over and quite sad to swim down and see the ruined race track.
I liked the design of Icecrown. It's like the Mordor of WoW (except with the Frozen contrast). From the Giant Skeletons that can kill you in a few shots, everything was just bigger and more menacing. With the dark 'war-like' Music adding to the depth of the experience.
Honestly I like the Swamp of Sorrows. That's where it all began. Where orc first met man. Where the first war started, and they really like to remind you in the post cataclysm version now that the alliance has a base there.
My favourite zone is Zangarmash - i like the cloudy, mushroomed weather. I remember heavy-good-times...
i love uldum for the sheer number of indiana jones references that make me lol evry single time :)
My favorite is the new Westfall. The zone really gives you a feel of the population displacement cause by the Cataclysm.
Throughout all the expansions, i liked Stranglethorn Vale, always interesting. Especially the PvP minus the ganking.
The Barrens before the cataclysm. Gann Stonespire, what a lad. R.I.P
My favorite zone is probably Stormwind. To set the scenario. My love of Stormwind first started back when I was playing in WoW beta. My friend had me sign up and create an account. And I started in Northshire Abbey and was incredibly DISPLEASED. I could not believe I starting in a church and not near a grand city. I was very disappointed.Eventually, I made my way to the front gates of the castle. And my eyes just lit up and I started raving to my friend. I was ranting and practically harassing her with how amazed I was with all the statues. The epic music, the water, the gates, the soldiers, the General. Everything, Stormwind was this fantasy castle.Even better! Stormwind was bustling. The npcs were moving, it felt very lively. It had a lot of shops, a lot of children, a lot of fluff. It was very polished and very detailed -- unlike a lot of other cities. There has to be a reason why in vanilla even though Ironforge had the AH and was de-facto central for the Alliance, Stormwind was always busy. Unlike the Horde, the Alliance had "two" cities: Stormwind and Ironforge.Even without the Auction House, Stormwind would steal glory. It had various distracts, it was medieval castle. It had a huge cathedral. A park. An old town area. It just had everything. This was a true medieval fantasy, like something out of Great Britain or France (and greatly embellished of course!). And now, Stormwind has a King who has returned. A crowned Prince. Apple trees, orchards, lakes. It has a port. Robust economy. And better yet, there are all sorts of activities like fishing daily and cooking daily.Stormwind is just so very well detailed. It's the embodiment of a fantasy city. And it's by far the most detailed and polished zone Blizzard has ever made. (Not to mention all the running jokes, especially with the name of NPCs or buildings, etc).
Durotar, the first zone I ever seen ohh so long ago.....
