The one thing I've accomplished in this game of which I'm most proud is having attained the original "Commander" title in vanilla WoW. The pvp system back then wasn't nearly so refined as what it is today and, long story short, it was one heck of a grind even with the preforms and their waitlists (I'm also probably one of the few people who has never botted hks in AV). Add this to the fact that at the time I only had dialup for a connection and it's a miracle I ever made it to Commander rank. The best part? I did it all for a mount. I disliked every single epic mount in the game with exception to the glorious Commander sabercat (charcoal gray body with purple armor--what's a girl not to like?) that was only available to Commander-ranked or higher players. Finally reaching that point in the grind and obtaining it is one of my happiest memories in the game, even if this feat later became moot as the Black Battle Cat became available to everyone. But, I don't mind; I got my cat, and that's all that matters. :D
Easily the achievement I'm most proud of is Alone in the Darkness. We were just a simple little 10-man guild so finally killing Yogg was the culmination of weeks of slowly progressing through the dungeon. Very proud and happy moment when we finally downed him.
I'm extremely proud of my "What a long Strange Trip its been" achievement, it took me one year to complete. There were some times when it was frustrating because I did it when most of the drops were all RNG based. I was very proud to have gotten it and assist in doing it for my fiancee also.
honestly my most valued achievement was getting /script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("\124cffffff00\124Hachievement:4826:"..UnitGUID("player")..":0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r");on my main
Level 85 (Legacy) *
I'm feeling like feeling today - so I pick the achievement that I *have* that best represents my most intense period of raiding (since we didn't actually get the achievement we were after ^_^;; ) -- "The Undying". Eventually that became easy to get, but we had a close-knit achievement group that was smart and coordinated enough to get this a bit before that. We didn't even really try to get it, we just got it as a side effect of hoarding other achievements several times a week. We had so much fun together (and so much raid-yelling XD). I was so proud that I sported the then-not-so-common title for quite some time. (I really only turned it to something else when I kept dying in a new raid - it was just too inappropriate XD )It's really very hard to pick a favorite achievement though, because ... there are so many different reasons to have a favorite. For the humor and non-necessity, I love "Did Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?" For nostalgia and self-achievement, I love the "Sergeant" title my original character (sadly unplayed for long periods of time) has. For discovery, I would definitely pick "Ghosts in the Dark" - not only is it in my proclaimed favorite zone, but I believe I was the first in my guild to get it; also, it hints at demon hunters, something I've been saving a character slot for just in case and will continue to so do unless.... it should come true........ *sparkly eyes*
There are quite a few I'm very proud of, although originally there were no achievements. My first Nefarian kill in Blackwing Lair at level 60 was quite an achievement after 3 months of 4 nights a week progressing on it. Bane of the Fallen King on my priest is also a personal favorite, as is my newest achievement on my current main, killing Heroic: Nefarian.
i'm most proud of my "Did Somebody Order A Knuckle Sandwich?" achievement. I got it it LK when we actually HAD to get the weapon skills up, it was long, boring, and it took forever. But Chris browning a bunch of mobs made me feel all happy inside espically when i got the 400/400!
The Undying. As a guild, we worked really hard on the place when it first came out. Working on stuff like Saph's bombs, kel's ice prison and the worst mechanic, according to our paladin healer, the heigan dance. But we did it. We worked for about 2 months on it and finally managed it with 2 healers. Felt like such a boss getting it. Good stuff.
Skills to Pay the Bills - because fishing takes forever...
One of the most difficult to get was "Deathcharger's Reins" I kid you not, I've farmed that thing more times then i can count! Just to have a friend (who ran it once) win it. I've been running that thing since early BC, but it wasn't till the LAST day of Wrath i got it! I was shaking and crying! I had to call all my wow friends and tell them!I'm also very proud of what my alt achieved. The Noble Guardener on a lvl 25! that was so difficult! All my friends were out doing finals, so they couldn't help me. I had to die so many times to get it...but being the only lvl 25 with a title is kinda epic!
My proudest achievement has to be , since it represents a whole year of my love for this game.
I like the Glory of the Ulduar Raider (10 player) Because of all of the epic god like bosses and then one of my favorite, Reins of the Rusted Proto-Drake because it has all of my favorite features i like into one single flying mount.=D
