Going to level my paladin in BC just so I don't have to deal with all that vehicle nonsense.
With Cata Zones, is this taking into account smaller zones? Like how Loch Modan, Elwynn, Westfall and Dun Morogh are small and quicker? If you were to do smaller zones, it would reduce the time by a few hours, if not put it on par with WoD.Cata taking 20 hours seems a bit too long.
It's been a while since I looked, but is the option to turn off XP gain still present?
I mean, if you want class mounts, you basically have to do Legion, right?
If you're aiming at building up an army of raw gold farming with alts, DRAENOR. One the way you'll unlock followers, build outposts (getting more followers).ONe thing I need to know: Can you still bypass the WoD intro and get quickly to Gorgrond thru the Timeless Isle teleport with this?If not, okay, Chrome time is already fast, and the Tanaan Invasion isn't a big deal, it's a good experience even if a bit repetitive for those aiming or Draenor leveling. My point for those aiming for WoD is: save most of the GR you get, and gold, and get your Garrisons to lvl 3 asap, then the Barn to lvl 3 (while you build outposts on the other zones, you'll get some blueprints, for 'free' lvl 2 medium/large buildings, so you spare 1000/1500g in this process, only needing to buy lvl 3 for 1000g). Other medium slot you can put Trading Post on most alts, Smaller with Storage, and other 2 with Alchemy+Scribe combo (or the character's main profession building), you can swap one of them with the Salvage Yard (Kimzee Pinchwistle questline from Spires of Arak, you get her as a follower too, with engineering), at least on enchanters, so they get the transmog from the chests/bags and disenchant them too.
First time playing a class? Gotta go Legion for the artifacts, order halls, class mounts, and reputations
just dont show this article to blizzard coz they will nerf legion and wod up to cata/TBC level kekw
So will it not be possible to just level on your own terms in vanilla zones at all?
At first I was going to do the re- leveling thing but after 10 years of starting from one Im kinda sick of it know Im just going to jump in the new exp at 50
I haven't finished Loremaster yet, I still have to do bc, wotlk, cataclysm and pandaria. That means I can level 4 characters and always have a different story while doing something useful, as useful achievements are.I wanted to level new characters but I wouldn't because of how bad the leveling is right now. I'm really looking forward to prepatch because of this, I'm glad Blizzard did this.
WoD wins by a lot more than suggested. You get a garrison and passive rewards that outshine every other xpac, by a mile. The Legion and BfA boards are actually worthless while WoD still delivers. My guess, in about 6 months they will hard nerf WoD as most people will (or should) do their leveling there. This will be Bliz's only choice - they can't go fix all the broken zones, so they will have to ruin the best one.
Is it just me, or does the time it takes to level go up proportionate to how enjoyable the expansion is to level through? Bleh.I am *SO* tired of leveling through WoD and Legion and BfA. I hate Draenor. I hated it when it was current (except for my garrison), and I'm sick to death of it now after pushing thirty-something alts through the bonus objectives for leveling (alongside the requisite Pandaria treasures & Legion invasions). I've really been looking forward to some Wrath or Cata or BC leveling again...I understand that it's impossible to get the leveling times down to exactly the same, but double? Double's unacceptable.
Thank goodness I no longer need to deal with ether Wrath or BC....To me, choosing between which of those two to level through was like picking the weaker of two non lethal poisons, it hurts regardless. As for which area am I going to level through? I think I'll start with some vanilla/cata areas and then move on to other xpacks and their areas after I get flying.
Probably gonna level a few characters in Legion since I miss a lot from the class halls :) looking forward to it
