Gearing is VERY dependent on the weekly reward in the Great Vault, if you are trying to catch up to be able to contribute near the same level as your friends who have gotten 220+ rewards from the great vault for the past 9 weeks, then it will be a VERY slow and painful catch up process. But if your friends are okay with carrying you until then, welcome back, otherwise I would recommend waiting until 9.0.5 or even 9.1.
You know? it's the same over and over and over and OVER:
this is litteraly advertisement for world of warcraft, I see way morecons then pros in this expansion and I feel like it is really boring.Me and my friend decided to quit it for a while in the hope that thenext patch will be better.
I'll take the unsub, never been more bored by a game.
Yeah,
It certainly was a great time to drop the game
In spite of its cons, Shadowlands gives methe most enjoyment in WoW since Legion. So, yeah, I feel like it's a good time to come back.
I would say right now shadowlands is okay. I liked leveling my 10 levels like normal, but once I got to max level I felt overwhelmed. We have pointless systems on top of pointless systems and then for me the worst part has been the maw and torgast. Not being able to mount in the maw is pointless other then to up daily active user numbers (but that’s really all successful mmos/online games). Torgast would be alright if it was just the endless coradoors and the story quests. Then it could pretty much be ignored if it wasn’t your coup of tea. But its tied to legendarys so unless you are just doing LFR raiding its a must for you to do until you get your legendary all upgraded. Raiding is as far as normal/heroic raiding is alright I wouldn’t say the first raid is the best raid ever but more gear/anima would be nice. I would even except bring bounce rolls back as a compromise. Anima could maybe be tie the amount of anima to the difficulty of the raid. Kind of like the soul ash in torgast. To be completely truthful if I didn’t raid with grate group of people I would have unsubscribed after hitting max level or at the very least drawn back from heroic raiding and just been a LFR hero like in pandariea when I had no guild or raid team. Though I have also been playing the game with a few friends leveling toons 1-60 and one of them has never played wow before, they both have been having fun and so have I. More fun then play max level. As far as PVP please ask someone who dose PVP I can’t help you.So TLDR: Yes if you have the time and a good guild or group of friends to play with.
exactly
Way too low anima drops from any content while the process of anything (buildings, cosmetics) is ludicrous. Whistle not working in SL for no decent reason at all. Maw being no-mount zone with no rewards. Torghast having no rewards either - seriously, why couldn't they make it work like Visions with 1 item per floor per week? Then, SL is coming down from BfA, which had very poor narrative that, due to focus on just a few characters, AGAIN ignored staying in-character for the others. Pretty much the most faction leaders were turned into puppets for the sake of fabricating a faction war story that made no sense at all. Now we have an expansion that's following from that, which means it's affected by the nonsense before it, and has yet to give a clear hint it won't be another such a disaster. The factions should've been disbanded after Legion and focus shifted on major characters of all types. Without the focus on forced faction narrative, the story would likely get to a better place. One month was enough for me, and if there isn't a significant change in the many issues SL has, I'm not coming back.
I like gearing my character but in SL it is bad, really bad.You can not craft end-game ilvl gear or you don't have a badge system that allows you to buy specific gear items for end-game raids like in BC.I think I will buy the next expansions only when the last patches come. This game is unplayable in the first patches. It feels like the players have to fight childish devs.Customers say: The drop rate is too low!Childish devs: NOCustomers say: The drop rate is too low!Childish devs: NOOO, How about less loot, so you ST*U? -1 lootCustomers say: The drop rate is too low!
