Is it okay to force pvp players into pve? I guess if you don't play PvP, you don't know the issue of course.PS udk with CoS equipment are boring af. As well as heals with absorb trinkets.
Literally unplayable! I guess it's back to throwing puppies off bridges since BfA is officially ruined and there is no point to life or morality.
This has always been the standing issue with games that have both pve and pvp. It's hard to balance one without it affecting the other in some significant way. The removal of hard set "pvp gear" was a step in the wrong direction imo. Pvp gear was more useful in pvp and less so in pve environments like dungeons and raids and vice versa. In general, pvp should never affect pve and pve shouldn't affect pvp, but with the bull*!@# that was pulled with the war mode imbalance and one side getting a weekly chest that the other didn't, it meant you had raid groups straight up faction swapping to get an edge. And now with the removal of the templates, a pve oriented player can walk in with good gear from dungeons and raids and hold their own. The legendary quest line in MoP was also a source of contention because it required pve oriented players, trying to earn a reward that could only be used in/on pve gear, to pvp.Assuming that these pvp talents do in fact take effect in pve content, such as dungeons and raids, the currently selected talent choices basically require certain specs to get this essence, no questions asked. Even if the bonus is so-so to the individual, specs like balance and feral druids will be required to take them because they benefit the party/raid too. This just hard enforces that Blizzard can't balance their game worth a *!@# anymore when choices are made so powerful that they are "must takes" because the alternatives are so inferior (looking at you breath of sindragosa). If these essences are only active in war mode open world, and in instanced pvp, then I can give two !@#$s because I'm a pve player, but right now I'm hearing people say "oh these are usable in raids" and others saying they aren't. If an essence that gives you an extra pvp talent is going to be good in pve, then Blizz needs to finish nailing the coffin shut now rather than wait to see if this game comes back to life, because that drastic a mix of the game's two most conflicting elements will ensure at least another percentage of their slowly dwindling player base quits.
