I use Steam for how easy it is to buy games, and use it as a messenger while playing a game or if I don't feel like logging into World of Warcraft just to talk to one person. The library is great for holding all your games and not cluttering your desktop with shortcuts for each game. There are also deals going on all the time, so you can find the game you want for a huge discount.

Steam FTW. It makes it super easy to play other games (Portal, Portal 2, DOTA, Age of Empires HD... and the list goes on) plus their sales are awesome. Way easy to keep your games in the cloud, play whenever you want and if you don't want it taking up space on your hard drive then you can uninstall and reinstall any old time you want to. I also use the EA official thingy.. er, Origin(? I think that's what it is called) for Sims 3 stuff. Easier than having to keep discs about to run the game off of. My boyfriend also uses GoG (Good Old Games) to download and play older pc games that might be harder to find discs for. I haven't tried GoG, but my boyfriend likes it, and he wouldn't use a service that was shady, so it's on the up and up.Things like that are great for downtime from WoW (Server rollovers, maintenance, or when you run out of game time and can't buy any for a couple of days.)Edit: typos D<
Yes, actually. I use only Steam at the moment, though with its library of games, I can play some of the games I've never had the chance to play/haven't played in several years.
I use Steam a lot. Mostly for strategy games, but Skyrim could eat more of my life if I let it.
I only play WoW on my computer, I mostly play console games.
I use steam since it has a lot of games, and a lot of sales, plus it lets me not need to worry about discs.
I don't have steam, and quite frankly, I'm not sure what it does. I only have WoW and Diablo three as downloaded games.
I do not use digital download services.
This pet is sooo cute :D But i thought it will be obtainable via hard achievement well but blizz need to make extra money prepaids aren'e enough ;p
I use Steam only for the games that you can solely play there (For example Portal 2.) I also enjoy Steam's abundance in and great adverticement of cheap indie games that would otherwise be difficult to find on the internet.
The only service like I actually use is Steam, because it has a MUCH bigger variety of games to find than any physical store and because Steam is often required to play such games.
I use steam to get the retro games that I'm looking for.
I want to win a cinder kitten it'll look cute following me around as i have my full burning embers up
Yeah i use steam mainly because i am to lazy to go to the shop and buy hard copy of games so i just purchase them digitally
