Some classes are plain bad, or weak. RIP paladins for the 3rd year in a row
Buff Hunters :3
Not a lot of real answers in all of that.
Sure, Dracthyr have some nice customization options...locked if you're in or out of combat. The base Dracthyr model does have a lot of combinations, but I'd much rather see other armor on them than the preset customization options. Those will get stale quickly, whereas there are so many more armor pieces in the game, and that always gets updated.I truly don't think the devs understand how more customization and transmog are important to players.
Thanks for the Q&A. Although some of his answers were, y'know, a pain to read, right?
This guy answers questions worse than ion, good lord. What I'm getting from this is no fixes to paladin or shadow priest in 10.1. Great.
Could anyone explain how "+40% player health and +40% enemy damage" solves such "Spiky HP" problem by any means?
He is so out of touch regarding the Evoker transmog debacle. Imagine adding a cool dragon class and we cant even make it look badass, no it looks like a naked lizard.
What about the Transmogrification of White & Grey quality items? I've been waiting since April to use some low quality items I've had in my bank for years!
Really like most of the questions, really dislike most of the answers. Lots of dodging and talking around a topic to distract from a nothingburger. Disappointing
There are a few points that I find concerning.1) The point about talent trees and putting points in situational feels bad to me, why take an AoE stun on a single target, but I have to get talents that I want below? If someone has been playing a class for 15+ years why should they not have full say over how they build their character? How does this improve the fun of the game for a player?2) When it comes to over all balance I feel Blizz is out of touch. Sepulcher is an example, Ian having admitted that it was them having an arms race with Mythic Guilds. I don't feel like this is a team that has been working on WoW for close to 20 years. With they level squish we have been at this level before so they should be able to draw on past experiences to make this better.3)He says they are happy with the current design, but what if players have issues? Feedback only works if Blizz listens and changes something in response. I would like to see classes grow, not stagnate. What could make them, not bog down in older designs. I wish at moments like this they would share what their views of the classes and design was, but I doubt they will because that would open them up to even more criticism.
I feel like the fact they are 'looking at the race to world first' at all is a TERRIBLE idea. RWF is a spectacle. I hoped that the disaster that was SotFO would have showed them that what RWF guilds want (Halondrus) are NOT what mortal guilds want.
