I don't get why so many people are complaining about this... Blizzard hating on fun? Seriously? Pretty sure most of us just used the bonus objectives to power level through 90 to 100, and that's that. It took a couple hours and that was it. Its not like we did all of it for fun...
slightly about 90%?
I blame DesMephisto and Bellular, they shoulda left it alone instead of mass advertising giving griefers a chance to complain
"It remains to be seen if Blizzard will nerf dungeon speed leveling in Shadowlands before the pre-patch goes live as well."after being reminded, they surely will.....tbh blizz should have kept in the heirlooms xp seriously, if you want to be slow leveling dont wear it easy fix or jsut flat up give like a heirloom rings 0 stats but 85-100% more xp or something to make up for the xp removal of pots and heirlooms and monk quest.
WoW Players: Covenants are bad because Blizzard is incapable of balancing anything. Also WoW Players: How dare Blizzard nerf this clearly unbalanced thing, fun detected!

Good, now I don't have to feel bad about leveling in different expansions.
Do legion invasions still give good xp in SL?
Doesn't really matter. Considering how insignificant they're making leveling, they'd might as well just let you start at the most recent expansion.
If you don't like the game, then why are you playing it? And if you are only interested in endgame, surely you already have a max level character. And even if you don't, you get one with purchase of the expansion. So once again, if you don't like the game, why play it?
Flash news for the "haha here comes fun detected" crowd: people are speedleveling in WoW not because it is very fun thing to do, but because doing it as Blizzard intends is the opposite of fun. I did my loremaster, I leveled tens of characters to the max level - I've seen everything and did everything, and just want to get this over with. I would gladly press a "ding max level" button if someone will give me one. Leveling is just not fun for a veteran player anymore, not even slightly.
Most people I've talked to in game have generally been more or less, "well that sucks, but it was really fast compared to other expansions. So it's understandable why it is getting nerfed." Even with all this, the full leveling process will be faster and less janky than it is currently. I much prefer to see general expansion rate of leveling in the expansions to be relatively even. If one is a hour or so faster, whatever. I do not believe WoD was so modest in that difference. When Shadowlands hit live, I predict further tuning when they get a larger pool of leveling data flowing in to fine tune it a little more if there is any large disparity. If they start significantly increasing time it takes to level for all of the old expansions, then I may have a problem with it.I would also like to add that I can't imagine it's that healthy if any particular expansion's leveling dungeon bracket if everyone flocks to one because it's noticeably faster, or one being much slower. If this happens because of expansion's quality, then that is a different story.
