Without the functionality to mail across servers, this really is a lackluster change.
Well here's hoping we get to mail stuff to other servers soon(TM).
Still NOTHING from Blizzard has said yes or no to cross realm transfers of BoAs. Right now all it means is people who have characters on multiple accounts on the same realm can share BoAs between those accounts without having to earn them for each account. This is GOOD for multiboxers, but for the majority of people means nothing. I hope that it means cross realm transfers (though both situations would benefit me personally) because right now all my BoAs are sitting on a realm I left last fall. *crosses fingers, but no breath holding yet!*
Good news, that new Warrior char I have could speed up the leveling since my main in loremaster already lol
Transferring BoAs between accounts makes no sense to me. Dad leveled his toon so kids get BoA? WTH?If Blizzard implements this change without allowing between server transfer of BoAs on the same account I am going to stamp my feet and glare angrily at the Blizzard Entertainment charges on my credit card statement. :(
I wish Blizz could take heirlooms back, I know you have to work to get them and blah blah blah, but you go into any low level bg and its just a show of how many BoAs you have, while the ones who don't have BoAs are left in the dust. I think they should be nerfed, have the stat bonuses reduced or something, make them par with gear of that level, so bgs and dungeons become more about the skill and less about the gear.
Yes! I love it!I also like the look of that tanking sword.
I have yet to see any blue in the level range of my alt that can compare with someone with 2 Swift Hand(s) of Justice
-crossing fingers and hoping that the new battle.net account bound thingy means that you can transfer hierlooms across servers.- :D
The heirlooms should appear on your battle.net account page and be mailable to each character in the same manner that RAF mounts are sent out. It's not hard to do if they wanted to do it.
i think one of the main issues keeping mail between servers from working is the naming process to send it. the name form is too short to add any of the servers along with a name and since names arent exclusive all around we are prevented from being able to just send it to a name. so really the only answers would be to have them make a way for us to enter a server destination, auto-defaulting to current server of course, or to make character names unique across all realms, which really would bring some issues into play. so while i have no idea about the coding involved im pretty sure they would have to do something pretty hacky to the mailing system to get the update in without causing issues like that mail from the AH with your 25kg darkmoon card sell being sent to a different server because someone had your name and the data found a different path then was intended. rule of thumb i have come to know...if it can happen in real life then data can do the same thing.
going to be very nice.. :)
