blizzard should implement a leveling system where completing all of a zone's quests increases the xp gain any following alts make in that zoneleveling is so alt unfriendly right now it's pretty annoying.
Altoholic reporting in - this doesn't seem to be too huge. I'll probably max most of my characters before all the QoL catch-up features become available anyways. I'd be more concerned about the rates for each type of leveling activity since historically (especially recently), that rate balance has been out of whack.
So much whining. This isn’t even a change. It’s just removing the the leveling “buff” from beta that exists to compensate for bugs and getting people to max level easier for testing content. This is just Blizz setting the levelling to the planned requirement.Anybody who has levelled in the beta should know that you ding 120 too early. It will be about 25-30 hours to level your first character (before you know the content) with this correction. It’s no worse than Legion. It’s literally a couple of hours per character. If you’re that time poor, why the hell are you playing an MMO? Stop crying about it.
A change I would like to see is that if you have Warmode enabled, you should only see groups in the Group Finder which also have Warmode enabled. If you join a normal group it phases you and you cannot participate in the NPC kill for example. Currently people are forced to join & leave several groups before they find the correct one. I play with warmode on in the beta, and it is major fun.
It's probably good if it takes three zones to reach 120 for the simple reason that some of those questlines are much more difficult at 120 than during the scaled leveling, and also, if it takes a little longer to reach 120, you will not have such crap gear when you get to 120 and get smashed like a bug doing simple packs of mobs or a rare that you could easily kill while leveling. Speaking as a clothie anyway.
Perfect, thank you.
I am quite horrified by the mindset and reaction of some people. WoW is a game, yet, people complain, that playing it is a chore?
I do hope that they will raise it by another 10-20% before game goes live. Lore Experience was too fast paced and skippable in places during beta anyways.
Why does it feel like the comment section here is filled with Mona Lisas from Parks&Rec?x.XXp was lowered so people could run the beta and test stuff. Now it's at a normal rate of gains.Reminds me of my brother just skipping all the cutscenes and dialogue in RPGs, then having no idea why people 'like this game' after running around with no idea what was happening for hours.
So long as it doesnt end up like 90-92 in wod beta ( where you HAD to do the bonus objectives just so you could hit 92 and go to gorgrond) im fine with a bit of an experience boost. In saying that, 3 zones for 10 levels isnt much so i don't see the harm in only doing 1 and a half if you try to finish a zone. I did 2 and a half in legion and we uave the option to move onto a new zone anyway so you can meet the friendly requirement pre 120 anyway
