Making post that is basically guessing ranking bassed on prepatch umbalance due to essences and azurite. Ye make sense to me.
Why the hell isn't Demonology in the "Hit Hardest" section? It was clearly hit the hardest dropping 17 ranks compared to Arms with 14 and Havoc with only 10.
I know this isn't indicative of how the specs are going to be in Shadowlands once you factor in the ability changes/gains from 50-60 and also the systems.. But I certainly hope things get a bit more balanced before raid/m+ go live.Cause my spec :( :( :(
Kek, not even mentioning Survival Hunters as they got the absolute tar beaten out of them.Just delete the spec already - literally no one but PvP tryhards play it anyway.
really like that -14 for arm warrior feels good to see my ilvl 110 shadowpriest doing more dps that me
The hps numbers of the holy priest are there to compensate for everything else which is missing - lack of dps (while healing), lack of damage reduction cds, lack of mobility, lack of defensives, lack of good single target healing. Disc will still be the go-to spec for the high-end guilds.
shadow priests number one? I heard nothing but crying from shadow priests claiming how bad they were going to be in shadowlands.
Can we have the writers of these guides address the big out liners, not just the spec they play? Demo drops 17 places, no mention. On top of that, shaman being in the top 10? No mention either!Survival being one of the best melee specs, nothing. Even tho it was @#$% upon by so many throughout BFA.But oh, flavour of the month BM goes up one spot. Let's have a heavy discussion about that pointless change. GG, can we make this relevant again, wowhead posts are starting to slip, again. You have a platform you can make great changes on, use it, please, for the good of the community.
At this point, it really starts to feel like the only reason I stick with Demonology, is pure spite, since Blizzard clearly wants no one playing it... Even the guy writing the guide, can't find anything nice to say, and advises people against playing it.
"SHADOWLANDS dps, tank and healer Ranking!" now watch us talk about prepatch.the same prepatch where we don't have covenants, soulbinds, conduits or legendaries but are still influenced by essences and azerite.yeah. this is a valid ranking. not purposefully misleading AT ALL
This guide should consider healer damage. Holy pala and disc priest are still outclassing any other healer by up to 500% in this regard.Hps often times is just not really an important enough factor to make descisions on which healer to pick because usually healers never lack healing anyway. A healers rotation is not as tight as a dps' so you have a lot of downtime. If you fall 10-20% behind in healing output, you just burn a little bit more mana and you'll probably be fine. For a skilled healer, mana has almost never been an issue for the last few expansions. We will still see paladins and disc top the meta in raiding and druids / disc dominating mythic plus with paladins just waiting for a little buff to top the meta there too. And that will happen despite them not dominating the hps rankings. You guys at wowhead should write an article about that because it's time for the other 4 healer specs to finally arrive in the year 2020 where mana efficiency is not an issue and everybody tries to bring as few healers as possible because dps checks are too important and healing output doesn't matter.
When you believe that ferals cant get any worse in BFA, blizz proves you wrong in SL.
I know feral druid players want to brag that they are the most neglected spec but I want to shed a light on Windwalker Monk it has been the worst meele spec for an entire expansion and it doesnt look like they will be any good in SL either and from what I read and saw in Sloot's stream about WW Monk is that the spec also has big issues with bugs that makes them suck. They have not received the changes they needed and from the looks of it we have to wait and see if the Xuen changes will be enough to get them atleast out of the worst meele spec situation in PvE.
